I have a 5 year old daughter who is driving me crazy with her lies and sneakiness! For the past two weeks, everything that she has said to me has been a lie, and it is about the stupidest things. An example: She asked for money for school because it was "picture day." It wasn't picture day and when I called her out on it, she lied and lied and finally said it was for the book fair. If she had been honest, I would've given her money for books, but because she lied, she got nothing. She has also taken things from my room and denied it, lying over and over until I find them in her room. I even found a box of cereal she had taken hidden in her room!
I have taken her TV out of her room, tried spankings, offered rewards for good behavior, taken toys, sent her to bed without dinner, EVERYTHING and I'm at my wits end! I honestly feel like I'm losing my mind, and it has gotten to the point I don't even want to talk to her and hear her lies! Any suggestions?

Me and my ex currently meet at our local Mcdonalds. My van is broken and most days I walk the kids back to my place and then walk them back to Mcdonalds at the pick up time. Now The Question, this woman has continually freaked out over the walking. The kids have created their own games in this 5 minute walk, We have a nice chance to talk about what is going on and they have learned to hate litter bugs, Now that the weather has lowered down to the teens she is taking pictures and is ready to use them in court. any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.

that no matter what it is or how corny it is- they have always liked you to do it for them? Even despite them getting older?

My children love it on saturday mornings when i make them chocolate chip pancakes. During the winter they also get a glass of hot cocoa.
The one Saturday I made them plain ones, my kids (both older) were really offended! They told me they liked the pancakes I made and could i make them some chocolate chips ones again. Needless to say- I havent stopped making them yet!

I am expecting a baby in May. I also have two children ages 6 and 3. When I am off work for maternity leave I want to keep my older kids home most of the time so they don't feel neglected and to save money. But I would like to bring them to daycare a little bit so they don't get so nervous going back when I have to return to work. How many hours/day and days/week should I bring them to daycare?

My son looks so much like Wentworth Miller from Prison Break. To the point that if they every need a little, little brother or a son, I have the kid for them!
Do your kids resemble anyone famous?

I spoke to the mother of a boy who has been physically abusing my daughter on the way home from the school bus. She spoke to her son and the situation has been remedied. Should I call her to thank her and to assure her that my daughter has been warned not to take advantage and be verbally mean to this boy (yes, she is just as nasty only with words, not hands). I want her to know that I appreciate it and that she can also call me if there are any problems with my daughter.

My son may possibly have to have tubes placed in his ears and I wanted to get some outsider information on how the procedure went for your child, anything you wish you would have known or done first and basically what to expect for a parental point of view, I already know the doctors expectations. Thank you

I don't know what to do. My 7 year old son not eat his lunch in the school, and I have a hell to make him eat his breakfast also. 1 small bowl with kellogs take 1 hour. He loves to play starwars, look cartoons, and I forbid him to play games and look TV if he not eat his lunch, but that not help at all. In the evening he eats ok, but still slowly. In the school the teachers try help to make him eat, but he is to slowly. But he is normal in weight and hight, so maybe I don't have to worry, but I only think that with all that energy he make he need food also.

Hello I have a few questions.
First off I was ordered to pay child support of $188 every 2 weeks, That has been being taken out of my paychecks, That was understandable (the first check that was all that was deducted from my net pay.) Then on my second check (2 weeks later) They took out $188, Plus now they take out an extra $18 for dental and $77 for medical benifits. My job has insurance, at that rate. A total of $284 each check now. I make $10 /hr. work 35-40 hours a week and after taxes that will leave me with $800 a month. My rent is $600, Bills $150 and i owe $8,000 on a credit card with a minimun payment of $230 a month. My car ins. Is $50 a month, Thats a Total of $1030 of bills I am required to pay. Im -230 a month to pay my bills, and thats if i dont eat or spend any money on gas or anything else.

Well my other question, If im paying $200 a month on medical insurance for the child, I pay that on top of the ordered child support payments?

i know a lot of people my age that want to have kids while they're young (i.e. now), so they and their kids can "grow up together". 2 very good friends of mine are both 19 and both got pregnant and had kids when they were 18. even my bf wants to have a kid now! but i'm not sure about all that lol. but there's been a few older people i've talked to who had their now grown children when they were very young, and they said they're glad they got started young. so is it good to have kids when you're really young, or is better to wait?

He has been abusive 2 me in front of him and didn't care, He's screamed at the top of his lungs at my son, thrown my baby's food at me. I'm no longer with him and it's an ongoing battle to collect child support. He'll get a job but won't keep it, I suspect he might be back on drugs. He's been in mental health. He tries to be more of my son's friend than a role model/father. There has been times when we've argued and he would say he doesn't want to see me or Hayden. He's put my son in danger by grabbing the steering wheel while I was driving down the highway. My son is 3 and I need to make the decision now if I should take my son away from his father. Hayden (my son) loves his father to death. They play great and He gets him as much as possible. But it's the behavior his father displays I'm questionable about. I need help!!
