My daughter has been touching herself recently to the point it irritates her skin. Is this normal? Can anybody provide a website or book or something that could help me deal with this situation. Thanx.

What's her age? Infact it is normal to behave like this.
If above 5-6 years try asking her to stop that by rewarding her when she stops herself from touching to the point it irritates her skin.

HI, THIS GO BEYOND LOOKING FOR BOOK OR A WEBSITE. YOU NEED TAKE YOUR DAUGHTER TO THE (DR). SHE MIGHT HAVE A YEAST INFECTION A YEAST INFECTION CAN CAUSE A LOT OF ITCHING. OR DO YOU TAKE HER TO A BABYSITTER. SOME ONE CAN BE TOUCHING HER IN THE WRONG WAY. TALK TO YOUR DAUGHTER TRY TO SEE WHAT IS GOING ON. YOU ARE HER MOM YOU KNOW WHAT TO ASK HER.

you might want to take her to a doctor to find out why she has been doing that how old is she and how long has she been doing this and is there any other signs that you have seen that has to do with touching and does anyone watch her when you cant maybe there doing something to her and that is a sign
