everyday my mom asks me how my day was at school. one of my friends is pregnant ( i found out a couple days ago) and i tell my mom everything about me...i hate keeping this from her. should i tell her? my mom doesnt really get along with this person...

I've wanted a baby for ages now, I'm 20 and been with my b/f for 3ish years. We do want kids but he keeps sayin 'just not yet'.

However I have such strong broody feelings and he is not helping! He points babies out to me when were out and tiny baby clothes. I'm torn inside by my desire to have a baby now. I know I'm strong enough to wait, but I'd like some suggestions to make it easier or help to persuede him otherwise.

In your opinion at what age is a child old enough to be left at home while the parent nips to the shop at the end of the road. I know people who have left their child at 7 and other people who won't leave theirs at 15. What is your opinion?

I am 14 weeks pregnant and have a doctor's check up today...and will hear the heart beat. I have decided not to learn the gender but am curious if anyone has found this to be true. My daughter's heart rate was 155 the entire pregnancy.

i got the shot a little under a month ago. & i know the shot is suppose to stop your period for up to 3months. but has anyone else experenced cramping & a little blood (like a period) that lasts about a few hours then goes away, and starts back the next day & keeps coming & going about the same time of the month as your period? i'm just makeing sure this is normal!

I have a 2 year old daughter and me and my husband want another child maybe next year. The thing is I feel as though I hold my daughter back sometimes. Like we never take her food shopping as we do a monthly shop taking up to 2 hours, I rarely take her to town just because I don't need to go. We do go to the park a few times a week and to feed the ducks and she's very happy when we're out. I think if I cant cope with her how am I going to cope with another child? My husband, his parents and my parents all say I'm a good mum but I feel as though I'm holding her back. I think my problem is mentally.

Sorry if you don't understand what I'm trying to say, it's difficult to express what I'm feeling in my head. I'm 24

It was 20^C today & I walked past a car at the post office and noticed two young children in there (one a baby and the other about 2ish). I just assumed their mother/father was posting a letter. I had lunch across the road, which roughly took about 45 minutes. I left and walked back across the street. The children were still there!
I banged on the window and tried to get their attention, both were dopey and relucant to move. I ran into the post office and got help. Couldn't find the parents, so i smashed the small window in the drivers window and got the kids out.
Both these babies where extremely dehydrated, and sick. They were taken to the hospital, and the police arrived soon after.
The mother a middle aged woman then decided to rock up. Off her head on christ nows what! Then tried to assult me for breaking her window!! so i smacked her around the ear hole and told her if i hadn't have done i they could have died!

i am a mother myself and totally disgusted! Why leave your

i met a man on holiday we started goin out found out he has ex of 6 years, not a problem but she came bk on the scene for 10 days on holiday he totally left me everynite to go out with her but lied about it, i said if u want her il walk away he said he didnt an when she left he was so mean to me, then i found out i was pregnant, he didnt wana no i came bk to england, then went bk cuz he asked me to. things were bad at first alot of arguments feel like im always living in her shadow but if i ever mention it he gets angry, so i feel like i can never get it of my chest, he wants baby an when things r good there good but most of the time i feel like im compared to her. i just want him to love me he says he does but he still has pictures of her an videos, im bk in england for my scan he lives in turkey, need to no how to move on from my inadequete feelings of worthlessness an like she is the queen?

i thought i was pregnant becuz i hadnt had my period in over a month, and then on august 19 i started spotting and i spotted the whole week, and then the next week the bleeding got heavier, and then i bleed really heavy half of the next week on now im not bleeding. But the whole time i was having really bad pains in my stomache. Did I have miscarriage?

well im not sure whether i would be preggas because i had my period on the 27th of last month im not sick or anything just dizzy every now and then. but my boobs are bloody sore and getting bigger by the day, worse when it is cold. and havent had sex after my period. (plenty before but not after) it is probally a really stupid question but i thought i would ask what are the symptoms of pregnancy anyways. i always thought u would have to be sick well anyways

One of my old friends from high school is in a bad situation and I'm not sure what to say/do to help her. She has a daughter from a previous relationship and a 3-month-old son with her boyfriend of 4 years. She dropped out of high school and doesn't have a job. They're barely scraping by as it is. Her boyfriend is a jerk. He works, but he's cheated on her in the past, can be really jealous, and won't marry her even though she is desperate to get married. We've all tried to get her to leave him, but she's head over heels in love with him. She was really happy when she found out that she was pregnant with his son; I think she thought that having his baby would change his mind about marriage. (It hasn't). She just found out that she's pregnant again and she's thrilled. I'm really worried about her. What is the tactful thing to say in this situation? I don't want to be mean, but I don't want to sound supportive of her being with him either when he treats her so poorly .

The baby was born in December. The once thought father signed the birth certificate and took several paternity tests months later saying he was not the father. This is where I come in. I met this girl once. I went to NJ in August to see the baby and go to court. I wasn't able to take the test in NJ and told to take it in Colorado a week later. I was told they would contact me. Over a month has gone by and still no word. I called and they have all my correct information and keep saying they will get to me. The mother does not want any child support. I'm just wondering if a paternity court order can be dismissed after a certain amount of time. The whole thing seems really shady and I don't want to get screwed in the end. I'm afraid she will come after me financially years from now. Any advice out there?

Ok, so I'm going back to work (Part-time) and so there will be a need for a 2nd carseat for our 12 month daughter. Here's the thing. My husband wants me to look at yard sales for a car seat... I dont think so... I dont know if that car seat was involved in an accident or not (which makes them void per safety standards) or how clean another family was, I'm wierd like that, I think of diaper blow outs, puking, sippy cups leaking etc... so I was talking to my mom, and she gave me a $50 towards a 2nd car seat. Am I wrong to want a new one, or should I just make the hubby happy and get a yard sale car seat?!?!?!?
I know this sounds stupid, but it's really bothering me. It's not about money to me, it's about safety, but to him it's about money since its a 2nd seat and I'm only working part time.
Good grief, someone help me lol

I was wondering if there is any law regarding this issue. A buddy of mine received an anonymous email from someone saying that his ex-girlfriend who suddenly moved back to her hometown just over two years ago is raising his baby and chose not to tell him that she was ever pregnant. He is an absolute wreck and is wondering if this is legal. The baby is over a year and he feels cheated out of not having been a part of her life in such an important time. Is it legal for a woman to keep the fact that he is a father from the father of the baby?

The Ohio mom that left her child in the car all day while she taught school ( she is a teacher). She went to the vehicle 5-6 times during the day and didnt notice the child. She was "distracted" because she stopped to get donuts before school !!! no charges were filed and they called it an accident.............. This is neglect and i feel there is NO EXCUSE. How do you feel?
Would you really want this woman as your childs teacher?
How could you look at the kids and forget you left your own child in the car?
