I am a small framed woman, when I had my first son at 16 I weighed 115-120, and gained 60 lbs (baby was 7lbs 14.5 oz) back to prepregnancy weight in 3 months, breastfed. 2nd son I weighed 130 and gained 50 lbs, did not lose all of it, only breastfed for 6 months, continued to gain after I had baby. 3rd baby lost weight first 4-5 months and in whole only gained about 20 lbs but I was easily 50lbs overweight, but I am back at 120 now 1 year after having her. Sorry for the breakdown, but it really has to do with your own metabolism, if you don't gain weight easily you will be fine after birth, if you do it may take a little while to get back to your prepregnancy weight. Just try to eat healthy, gain the least amount possible and BREASTFEED! Not because I am nazi but it seriously helps you lose that "baby fat".

It just depends on the person. I have one friend that looked like she had never been pregnant by the time she left the hospital. (ugh). I have a thyroid disorder that caused me to over-gain during all three pregnancies at different levels. Even though I gained 40-70 pounds with each one, folks often commented that I didn't look as far along as I was and I always was back down to my pre-pregnancy weight about 7-9 months later.
Also, remember that almost no one looks back to normal after the birth, I believe it takes almost 6 weeks for the uterus to contract back to it's regular size. Most women still look a good 5-6 months pregnant for a little while.

If the wellbeing care expert isn't in contact, then you are doing nice. And the 25lb weight benefit is withing the conventional parameters. maximum women are meant to learn between 25 and 30 pounds. attempt to no longer rigidity over weight too a lot, I even have had to enable it bypass via fact initially I lost 15 pounds. via fact the being pregnant is going on, you will start to learn a steady weight. purely be certain you're eating properly and eating somewhat some water and luxuriate interior the being pregnant devoid of thinking approximately each pound.

I wieghed 97lbs when I became preg. I gained a good 57 lbs w/ my son (only child). And lost it all but 4 lbs. It took me a few months but I did it. My son is now 20 months by the way.

I gained about 42lbs with both of my pregnancies. Too much weight. I gained most of it in my last trimester. I sure wasn't at my pre-pregnancy weight when they were born! But I dieted, exercised, and lost it each time.

I gained probably around 35-40 lbs. Lost all of it afterwards, especially because I was breastfeeding. Breastfeeding uses a surprising amount of calories and your body will return to prebaby weight really fast.
