We are pregnant with our first and are looking for ideas on designating each child we have with "something". For his family, his mom picked a song for each kid. For my family, my mom picked bible verses. We want something different. We were thinking of designating them with an animal. (i.e. Bear for strength, eagle for freedom or wisdom, etc.) We are very outdoorsy people. Does anyone like this idea or have a better idea?

my cousin is pretty young, 22, she had her first two babies 14 months apart and she's pregnant again so the 2nd and 3rd will be about 16 months apart! how many of you out there have had babies this close in age? isn't it alot to handle? she's gotten pregnant every time on purpose and I just couldn't imagine having so many babies all at once!! i love all the time I get to spend with my one year old son just me and him.

My sister is expecting a new baby girl, and has already named her Addison. She has a two-year-old daughter, who my kids (and my nephew) still refer to as "Baby Ashlyn". We've asked if Ashlyn will still be a baby when Addison is born, and they've already decided she would. Go figure.

Anyway, the kids all call Ashlyn and Addison both something that sounds like "Baby ***-in".

My sister hasn't suggested using a nickname, and refers to the baby as Addison. When I'm talking with my kids about their new cousin, do you think it would be okay for me to teach them a nickname, like Baby Addie, even if my sister and brother-in-law both use the longer "Addison"?

I am 21, married for 2 years and 14 weeks pregnant. A few weeks ago my dad had mentioned to me that him and my stepmom had a "scare" because she was a few weeks late on her period. I told him that when his oldest kid is getting ready to have a kid of her own, that maybe his baby making days should be over. What do you all think? When should your baby making days be over?

I found this website yesterday that estimates what your future child's gender will be. It was said to be 52% correct. I was wondering if there was another website that is more than 52%?

I seem to be thinking this is the case which is putting me off having a baby just yet. My husband is 28 and very keen to start trying, I'm am 23. We enjoy a very relaxed life and often see friends and have fun nights out, will all this be over when we have a child or will we be able to keep going out from time to time and still enjoy the things we do now? At the moment I feel prepared for a baby to completely take over my life and everything I currently do will be over, but is this really the case? My husband is telling me its not but I'm not so sure!
