Wondering if others thought it was interesting on the answers it got. A few sounded very defensive. I read the question as being humorous/ironical.

I am expecting at the end of september, and I have been battling with whether I should go back to work or not. I really want to be there for my little one during her most crucial years, however I also need the income. I have decided that it would be great for me to take on another little one while caring for my own. However, I of course want to look like an attractive caretaker to any future families who might want my services. Does anyone have any advice on how I should get started, and what types of certifications I should be seeking out? Has anyone on here done this themselves? This is how my own mother got through the three years after having me and she said it was the best decision she ever made. Thanks for your info!

My girlfriend and I had intercourse the night her period ended... and I was wondering if the risk of getting pregnant is higher right after her period stops. I used a condom but somehow it tore and I am scared out of my mind. I don't regret having sex with her I just don't want a kid yet and I don't want her to deal with it. I guess the only real way to tell will be in a month. huh?

I want to know if there are certain things that happen while your pregnant that indicate the sex of your baby. Like certain cravings, certain ways people feel, or something like weight gain in a specific area. Is there anything that might point ot what the sex of my baby might be. I know it's not fully developed yet, but can I still tell what the baby might be? I have a "motherly feeling" that it might be a girl, but I'm not sure. A lot of people in my family and my friends say that they think that it might be a boy from the way I act. I have early morning sickness which might indicate a girl, but I'm also gaining weight everywhere which might indicate a boy. So if there is any certain or specific things that you know, please help!

i have just had my second miscarriage last week. my 1st preg was fine and i now have a 6 year old daughter. I had a miscarriage in jan at 12 weeks and needed a d&c. i decided to wait a few months before trying again. We started tryin again in april and i concieved right away, unfortuantely i had a complete miscarriage last week at 6.5 weeks. Both my husband and i really would like another child but obviously i am really worried about this happening again. I have RH neg blood type and because of this and the 2 miscarraiges the hosphave offered to do screening tests to make sure everything is ok, but they have said it prob wont show anything and that i have just been extremely unlucky. Any advice please, has this happened to you.

I'm getting guardianship of my 15 month old niece in a month, maybe less..depending on when we're all ready for her. We have a son already who will be 5 in august, but it's hard to remember everything. I've given some stuff to my older sister, but I still have plenty baby stuff from my son. I know I'll think I'm all ready and that I have everything..then later find that I don't. I know it sounds a little dumb, being I've already gone through this..but I would greatly appreciate any help. Oh..my niece is in foster care now..so all I would get from the foster parents are things that my brother and my sister-in-law have bought for her..and that only consists of a few toys and a few outfits that she's already grown out of.

The doctor never tell you have to stay in the house but when you see people you know they act as if you've commited a crime punishable by death. I went to my two week check up and my doctor told me it was safe to have sex when I stopped bleeding. So why do people make a big deal about going outside?

My son is almost 6 months old. I have been having a lot of issues with breastfeeding the last few weeks. My son has been acting hungry after feedings for about 3 months. I started him on some Rice cereal and some veggies. Well here is the issue: My SIL has been very successful with breastfeeding her baby (who is now 15 months old) She called me today to "encourage" me. She never calls me. She said something negative to my husband about me starting him on solids. Her daughter will not wean, she doesn't like food (except junk food) I feel I am doing what is right for my son, without creating major problems later on. He still nurses, but my supply has been down since before I started him on solids. I have done EVERYTHING the books say to increase supply: Not working for me. I am planning on letting him nurse as long as he wants, but supplementing solids in as well. He will not take formula. Im going to the Dr this week.

I'm not married, and currently we aren't seeing each other, but I want to get a paternity test to 1) make sure it is mine. 2) make sure that I establish rights as the father. I heard unless married, I have no rights. So what do I need to do to make sure it gets done and makes things legal?

Here's my flyer:

My name is Allison and I am very interested in babysitting for your child, toddler, or baby or anyone you know looking for a babysitter. I have experienced babysitting all different ages and have babysat several times. The youngest child I’ve babysat was 5 months old. Every parent worries about who they leave their children with, but I am always cautious about the children I baby-sit. I would never want anything to happen to them. I have have had experience with changing diapers. I go to **, and I am an Honor Student. I am ** years old and entering the ** grade. I charge 6 dollars per hour. There are no extra charges for more than one child. I can baby-sit all day or for just a few hours. I know that some parents like to stay home when someone comes to baby-sit, just to get some work done around the house. That is always welcome. Most parents prefer an interview before someone comes to baby-sit for their child, and you are always welcome to call for one. My # is : *

I had really sharp pains in my stomach, nausea, fatigue, lower back pain, dizzyness, headaches frequent peeing. I am constantly hungery, When I burp it comes up vomit, & my boobs were so sore that I couldn't even touch them. I had my period but it wasn't normal. The 1st day it was just spotting & some excess blood, the 2nd day was almost normal but not quite, the 3rd day was just like the 1st. The 4th & 5th day were so light I didn't need a pad. My boobs were really sore than to but I figured that was cause of my period. But now I am no longer on my period & I still have some signs others have gone away. I still have lower back pain, frequent peeing, I get cramps, & dizzyness. I still have the constant hungerness & when I burp I vomit instead. My boobs arent as sore anymore but once in awhile they tingle or my nipples hurt. sometimes these signs go away but return. I took a pregnancy test the 3rd day into my period & it came back negative. I havent taken 1 again. Could I be pregnant?

There was this boy named Todd in my class. He was the most cutest boy in the whole school. At the begging of my sophmore year, he would always tap me on my shoulder, wrap his arms around my waist and stare at me during class. I gladly gave him a chance & we started going out and after about a month, I decided I was ready to give up my virginaty. He was the perfect person to start with. The sex was good. He knew wxactly where to place his dick to make me scream & moan and eventualy, I became pregnant. This wasn't something I had planned. What went wrong? I was so confused. I didn't tell my mom & she still doesn't know today. When I told Todd about my condition, he turned WHITE. He didn't say anything. I decided to let him be for awhile because I knew how shocked he was. Anyways, a week later, I heard he decided 2 move to Los Angelos with his father. He abandoned me when I needed him. Well, I am currently 3 months pregnant. I can't do it on my own. IDK what 2 do. Should I keep it or not?

When do you usually start using a high chair for feeding? We got one as a baby shower gift but we are considering moving next spring so I didn't know if we should bother putting it together or just keep it in the box for now? My baby is due August 20th so we have a while to go!
