First of all, I have grandchildren and my safety would be the last thing I would be concerned about if I thought my grandchildren were being abused. There may be issues you are unaware of. If you heve first hand knowledge of the child being abused you have a moral obligation to report it to authorities (police, office of family and children...etc.) Look in your phone book. You can usually find a 1-800 number to report to. Do something!!!!

Contact child protective services in your area. They will investigate the matter and decide what is best for the child. The authorities should have turned it over to Child protective services.

Everything that has been said so far from everyone.
But if the authorities have done nothing you need to know the exact story. something is not right. the authorities are always supposed to check into child abuse cases no matter what,

do two things
call the police and do not take no for an answer
if they give you the run around ask to speak to a supervisor and ask them to spell their name so you can write it down.then write a letter to the mayor and one to the chief of police and child services and tell them EVERYTHING you know about this case..
by doing it this way it WILL get fixed..
and no child should go through this, so you need to do this

good luck

Call the police, and they will connect you with Child Protection Services. If you REALLY feel like this should be reported, then, you MUST make this call.
