When do you usually start using a high chair for feeding? We got one as a baby shower gift but we are considering moving next spring so I didn't know if we should bother putting it together or just keep it in the box for now? My baby is due August 20th so we have a while to go!

If you have your baby in August you'll be using it before the end of the year.

I started using the highchair when my babies were 3-4 months old. At that time it was the recommended feeding age though. I do use it for them to sit up and watch me in the kitchen too.

You're looking at your child being 6/7 months old when you move. I can promise you that you WILL be using the highchair by then.

My son became into 4 months precisely whilst i began using the highchair, i began using it as quickly as i began him on solids... We did have a bouncer too yet I by no ability fed him in that (yet once you won't be able to locate the money for a highchair dazzling away i'm specific its advantageous to maintain feeding interior the bouncer)

i had one that had 3 different recline settings so it was usable for infants as well, if thats the kind you have then i would put it together now. We used it as a place for the baby to sit while we were eating dinner, as obviously she wasn;t eating solids yet.

Once my sons could sit up on their own, then I fed them in the highchair. Keep your highchair in the box, as you will not be needing it right away. All the best to the three of you!!!!
