Here's my flyer:
My name is Allison and I am very interested in babysitting for your child, toddler, or baby or anyone you know looking for a babysitter. I have experienced babysitting all different ages and have babysat several times. The youngest child I’ve babysat was 5 months old. Every parent worries about who they leave their children with, but I am always cautious about the children I baby-sit. I would never want anything to happen to them. I have have had experience with changing diapers. I go to **, and I am an Honor Student. I am ** years old and entering the ** grade. I charge 6 dollars per hour. There are no extra charges for more than one child. I can baby-sit all day or for just a few hours. I know that some parents like to stay home when someone comes to baby-sit, just to get some work done around the house. That is always welcome. Most parents prefer an interview before someone comes to baby-sit for their child, and you are always welcome to call for one. My # is : *

Flyer sounds good, but a lot of people won't hire a babysitter off a flyer, no matter how well it's written. You need word of mouth to work for you. If you're already babysitting, talk to the parents you sit for and explain to them that you need to grow your business and you'd like their assistance. You'd like them to spread the word about your fine work. Some won't want to share you, but some will help.

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. People are just more skeptical with their kids these days.
Word of mouth is the best way to get babysitting jobs. But if you want to continue to use the flyers, you can probably pass them out at daycare centers, little league games, soccer games or any type of kids sports programs and kindergarten schools.
Also, you can sign up with an agency and build up your network that way.
Good luck!!!

You could also include that you have references available upon request (assuming the people you've previously babysat for are willing to give a reference for you).
You should get CPR certified, if you aren't already, lots of parents look for that.
You've blocked out your age and grade, so I can't really comment too much on that except to say that lots of parents (myself included) are not willing to leave their very small children with anyone under the age of 17.
Grammatically you could polish it up a bit

Alot of families already have a regualar babysitter. Try talking to people, that way they can see that you are serious about what you are doing and not just putting stuff down on a piece of paper. Also, ask anyone you currently babysit for to recomemnd you to their friends and relatives. Good luck!

Well it sounds perfect if you ask me. Next logical question is.........Where are you putting the flyers? Try the little bulletims at the grocery store and laundry mats........you know...........where moms go.
What I've seen work well is.....to make the flyer and leave the bottom of the paper blank, turn the paper and write your name and phone number like 20 times and cut lines in between the name you write, that way people can just rip one off and stick it in their purse. Most people don't have time to write down your number. Hope I helped.

People are a lot funnier about babysitters now than when I was a kid. Don't let it get you down. Ask your parents to talk you up to their friends. Take a babysitting class, people like that.

Well I for one would much prefer someone I know looking after my kids; most people operate the baby sitting thing like that..

use super markets for publicity and use the internet as well. You haven't mentioned your age.. I suggest you do that..
The flyer is fine other wise..
