Is it true that when a women gets a the birth control shot,
they are not able to have kids?

I was due for the shot in January of 2005 and I never got it.
We've been trying for a baby since and I havent been able to get pregnant.
I know that I have to ovulate to get pregnant. I have had periods. Im so confused!
Is there anybody here with this expierance?

Preferrably in the state of illinois, does a father have to pay child support if his name is not on the child's birth certificate/ and there is no proof he is the father? and do he have to take a DNA test?

And yes, I have already asked my doctor, but they only have info for the hospital.

I am 35-36 weeks pregnant and lately i have this smell that is really salty. I almost want to say that i smell like a pretzel. It is not offensive just different. Anybody know what i'm talking about or why i would smell salty. It's not a private place issue. Thanks i know it sounds crazy but it's a serious question.

My mom never did want me to have a big family and 3 was already to much for her. My friends are kinda dissapointed because I can't hang out with them much because I have so much babies. They don't really understand because I was pregnant with my first daughter at 15 and I had twins when I was 17, and another pair of twins at 19. I'm still technically a teen so what do I do? I'm really scared to tell my parents and I'm afraid of my realtionship with my friends. I'm torn in hald. Suggestions? I'm already 3 monthes along but my friends and family just think I'm eating to much junkie foods... =P

I want my parent and family members to know, but I don't want to see their reaction. I want to tell my friends but I'm afraid their goingto think differntly about me because I'm going to be a mom. I'm also scared about the symtoms and labor to go through. Since I have no husband, I will not have someone by my side like regular mothers-to-be. I'm just really terrified and in need of help. Unique names?
This is one of those really bored random questions that just pop in your head one day.

Sooner or later my sister and her boyfriend are going to finally going to get married, and I know a baby is on their mind. (he and her are still a virgin) but she's really into the unique names that nobody has.

Ex: Cybri (Prononuced: Sigh Bre)

I was wondering if you had any names like that, that just sound really cool, that nobody seems to have.

Also, please give a prononced part of the name. Spelling it right is one thing, but prononcing it is another.

I have chose to stay at home and i have a wonderful husband that works very hard at what he does for a living and we do not suffer in the money department.
So my question is why is it you people look down on stay at home moms? Is it your jealous or you have to work cause no one will help you?

Since roe vs wade is never going to get overturned, do you think we should have stronger laws for people seeking abortion? Here I the laws we should have in my opinion.
1. Everyone should only be aloud 1 abortion. If they would get another one then it should only be if she is raped, incest, for medical health reason, like if the mother was in danger, or if she is under age. If her first abortion was due to incest, rape, or if she was in danger, if she was under age, that wouldn't count as her first abortion since of the ciucum stances. She would also have to provide documented proof that she was raped, or a victim of incest that she had no control over.
2. If she was underage, she would have to have a parents consent to get an abortion.
3. If the guy who helped created the baby wanted the baby, he should also have a say and she could not get an abortion. After all, its his sperm, not the girls.
4. She should be forced to attend a mandatory consoling session discussing all her abortions
