Some people would say no, but I think that microwaves have been around for long enough now that we would be aware of health problems associated with their use.
If you are worried, there are many other good sterilisers out there that don't require a microwave.

My sister said it is good but you have to follow the instructions and also when you go to take it out of the microwave use a pair of oven gloves because it will hot.

I used the Avent one, and it was fine.

Just make sure you check the wattage on your microwave and follow the directions for how long to set the timer. It differs for different ovens.

When I had my first, I diligently sterilized everything that came near his mouth....when I had my second, her pediatrician said that was an antiquated idea, and there was no need.

I stopped sterilizing, and what do you know? She survived.

Stop going to all the trouble! Your child will be fine!

I used to use a steam steriliser
much safer i reckon.
i am vaguely mistrusting of microwaves
thru personal experience and thru being
a scientist.
and having experienced what can go wrong.
my house is still standing.
just !!!!!!!!!!
