Put baby to the breast or pump and see if you can begin to bring a supply back in. Stimulation is the most important thing in establishing milk supply.

If that doesn't work, then there are herbs and medications that you can consider.

Here are some links below. Some of them are adoptive nursing because they have tips on inducing lactation.

There are no medications that I'm aware of. You will need to stimulate the nipples regularly, which will trigger your hormones to make you lactate. Also, you can drink a mother's tea for breast milk production and eat oatmeal. It's difficult to relactate, but if you're persistent, you can do it. Good luck to you!

All you need to do is put your baby to the breast a few times a day and encourage her/him to suckle. this will release the hormone necessary to begin lactation again

I breastfed for 3 months. My daughter replaced into interior the NICU that replaced into an hour and a nil.5 away so i replaced into pumping around the clock each 2 hours. of direction, I have been given under pressure being on an each 2 hour time table whilst attempting to return and forth the wellbeing center that replaced into so far-off. My milk grant diminished and that i wasn't making sufficient to maintain up together with her feedings. i replaced into very disillusioned approximately it and did no longer know what to do. I talked to the docs and that they instructed me that it replaced into ok if I switched her to formula. So I did. She replaced into born 3 months early and replaced into in straightforward terms a million lb 12 oz..at delivery and whilst she replaced into 3 months previous and that i finished breastfeeding, she replaced into 5 lbs. interior 3 months on formula she won 9 lbs and is doing unbelievable. The docs all say any volume of time you supply your little one with breast milk is stable. all of them compliment me for those 3 months. So are not getting discouraged. that's ok to change her in case you will possibly desire to. talk on your wellbeing practitioner approximately what formula they think of is precise for you baby. stable success!
