I am 35-36 weeks pregnant and lately i have this smell that is really salty. I almost want to say that i smell like a pretzel. It is not offensive just different. Anybody know what i'm talking about or why i would smell salty. It's not a private place issue. Thanks i know it sounds crazy but it's a serious question.

Its normal. Body oder is caused and effected by hormones. And as we all know pregnancy is a big hormonal mess.
You private areas (not in this particular case), your chest, and your underarms all secret the most scent on your body. Hormones effect this a great deal.

For the first few months that I got pregnant I smelled different. it wasnt bad, i just HATED the smell. It went away, came back, and since has changed again.
Oh pregnancy. Isnt it a blast?

It could be a few things probally just your hormones. if you are showering on a regular basis i wouldnt worry. On the other hand it could be a chemical reaction to your soap. Sometimes when your body chemistery changes like now while your pregnant certain soaps will react to you funky and make you smell different.

It's just your hormones causing the different smell. It's harmless and your almost due so it will be over soon. Congrats on the baby.

has anybody else smelled the salty smell besides yourself...your body is sweating alot due to the extra body heat from your unborn child

when i was pregnant i really dont remember getting any smells maybe it just the way your body is

damn here i go again HAVE U EVER HEADR OF SOAP AND WATER THEY WORK WONDERS ON A FUNKY A S S as far being pregnant that has nothing to do with your smell dont blame an un born baby admit it your nasty and nedda bath
