As far as I know, it's just as safe while your pregnant as when you're not. There is always the risk of e.coli and other nasties on food, whether home cooked or at a restaurant, so just make sure your food is cooked properly and you stay away from things that look old or undercooked.

Any woman that is pregnant should be concerned about what they eat, however, salad's are OK if a small amount is eaten. The baby gets it's vitamins though what the mother eats.
I hope this helps.

the only component undesirable approximately ingesting at buffets once you're pregnant is that each thing seems disgusting in case you have morning disease and you prefer to eat each thing yet have not got room for it once you're on the brink of turning in. :D heavily, nevertheless, this is high-quality to eat at buffets as long because of the fact the eating place is respected and the nice and comfortable ingredients are warm and the chilly ingredients are chilly.

I don't see why salad bars could be dangerous. If I were you I would just watch the poultry and make sure everything is cooked.
