I love 'baby's momma' questions!
I'm not sure why.
Maybe it's because they always seem to be about stuff a guy knows is wrong but he just wants to get someone to agree with his bad judgment.

Personally I think it's wrong even if she knows...and she probably agrees with me. My hubby wanted to name our daughter the same name as his first girlfriend just because he liked the name. But I'm a jealous little thing so there was no way in hell that was happening.

depends on your reason for wanting to name the baby that. if you just like the name then it doesn't matter whether it was an ex or not. if you're still hung up on the chick, then you have bigger problems at hand than just what to name your child

Yes...the fact that you are even asking this question shows that you, yourself knows that it is wrong. Imagine the mum ever found out why you wanted to name the baby that?

It is wrong and if I ( as the girlfriend) found out, it would be the last child you ever have!

If you like the name, suggest it to the baby's mother. She doesn't need to know where it came from.

It's not wrong to use the name, but it is wrong to not let the mother know that it has some emotional connotations for you.

To me it is entirely wrong if you still have feelings for your ex. Even with no feelings why would you want to make her feel bad? I guarantee if my hubby did that there would be major problems.
