There are millions of people & couples in the US on adoption lists, my bro in law & his wife have been on a list for 5 years & are willing to pay all med bills + max allowable in our state for comensation $10,000. Still no baby. I wish woman would think, that is all. I am by no means telling her what to do or even taking the choice from her, but take a week & think! Also if we as parents talk to our children about sex, we can reduce our teen pregs. It will not fix it but it can help

I just worry about the psychological effects on the mother. If a woman has an abortion because of medical need or if she is raped, well, then it makes sense, but if she has an abortion as a means of birth control, there are a lot of families who will be happy to adopt. I have a girlfriend who had 8 abortions between 15 and 24. When she was 30 she wanted a child and couldn't because of all the scar tissue of the unwanted children. She is devastated. She is also very loony upstairs.

Good point, and technically a fetus isn't "living" until a certain point. Abortion should be up to the parents and the other people should mind their own business and get a life! If they want to do some real good stop wasting time on the issue of abortion and help out with darfur or something like that. Abortion is for the mother to decide not for someone else. Although I don't believe in murder i really stress that abortion is for the mothers to decide. I mean its better than having an unwanted kid who'll most likely go to an orphange and get beaten,raped, or just live a life of pain. Don't put the kids through that. Not all go to orphanages but how many really do adopt? if your against abortion then you must be against putting kids up for adoption. Its still "getting rid of the problem"

Of course they're not. This question does ignore the trauma of pregnancy though. Oh, I do think it's terrible to think that women who have abortions are whores. Did you know that many women who have abortions are married or in long term commited relationships? Abortions are not just for teenagers! Sex isn't just about procreation and as we are always reminded, no contraceptive is 100% even sterilisation. My husband to be is getting a vesectomy for me, but if I end up pregnant anyways, I'll abort it. I'm not going through pregnancy even if someone wanted that child. My body is mine. My uterus is not a housing unit. I don't have to be guilty because Mary-Sue-Whatever was born without a working reproductive system. Boohoo! Get over it.

Instead of UNWANTED KIDS, why don't you try keeping your penis in your pants and stop doing the things nature put here to bring forth life!
That goes for the females also, they have the right not to have children! They exercise that right by keeping their legs closed and their draws on!
No one has the right to kill any one! Be they sick, developing or advanced in age!
Why do what nature put here to bring forth live if you do not want
to be responsible or have that life!
All you are saying is that you want to be able to screw females and after you have set nature into motion, you want to be able to KILL

Their are many people that can't have kids waiting to adopt a baby. Their is also a new law called safe Heaven. They can drop the new born baby off at a hospital, or police station with no questions asked. Their is also no criminal prosecution.

Abortion is murder and it makes murderers out of the doctors, nurses, all heath care providers, and all mothers who commit or participate in such an evil practice.
All life is precious. Children are a blessing from God.

No, but I am willing to teach all the irresponsible people how to use birth control or keep it in their pants. Abortion is NOT birth control!
