Been married 2 yrs. My hubbie has a 17 y/o daughter from a previous relationship. I want to have children but he doesn't want to. We did not really discuss this before we got married and now I don't know what to do. I'm already 28, my Biological clock is ticking, and everytime I bring having a baby he freaks and we wend up arguing. He says that we are not financially stable, we don't own a home and we have no savings. I understand all that but I'm afraid of missing out. Maybe I need to see a shrink.....Any advice?

I'm 25 years old and want children with my husband more than anything in the world. I'm very open to the idea of adopting or other options. What I'm asking for right now is advice on how to come to terms with my current situation.

Lets say both are before, the event, the aftermarth.
Sex
1) Before = courtship and thrusting
2) Event = splurge, ejaculation, out comes semen
3) Aftermarth = the relationship, & responsibility

Childbirth
1) Before=courship, pregnancy and labor
2) Event = splurge, birth, out comes baby
3) Aftermarth = rearing baby & responsibility

Is (2) physically fun in both cases? I know that ejaculation is fun but does birth have the same thrill, endorfins, catharsis, sense of climax?

And with sex, (1) while in a sense "work" is rarely seen as work because there is (2) to look foward to. And sometimes (3) can be the best bit, even the objective - "If I nail her, she'll go out with me! (yeah)"

Similarly(?) in birth, courtship and even pregancy promise (2) birth. And sometimes (3) can be the objective - "If I bear baby, baby will love me."

(2) may have a very physical appeal but (3) especially may be (for some) "work," hence nasty bonk-and-run guys, and post natal depression?

I have an idea to open a pregnancy center...At this center we will offer lamase, specialized exercise classes for moms, we will sell pre-natal vitamins, help books, possibly sell baby clothes, and maternity clothes...basically be an all inclusive place for expectant mothers.

What do you think?

Which of the following would be better?

A.) To have a childern now while both me and my husband are in college, while we have very little money and are Still Young.

B.) Wait til we have more money, a house(apt. for now), things that would be more fitting/convenance to have while the kids are around, and we have jobs that are stable, etc., etc.

C.)None of the above; Too Late. (Past ripe age to have kids(infertile), or we put our careers 1st instead of kids).

Chose your answer wisely, I am on birth control, which means by the time we both get out of college we both could be infertile (he will be 30 years old and I will be 26 years old) and it could be too late.

We both want to have childern but I fear it may be to late if we wait. But if we do not wait however, I may be not be ready right now. So tell your opinions and what you think, what you would do, or any ideas you may have. A lot of couples have chose option B.) To wait til they have whatever and its to late.

Ok,..

1) My sister and my mom are throwing my baby shower for me this weekend,..I want to get them thank you presents,...any good ideas??

But more importantly,..

2) I am due in September. My fiance and I are having a boy. We have been together 4 years and since we first started talking about having kids we have always said I could pick girl names, and he could pick boy names. He has always wanted his first boy to be named after him, with the exception of the middle name. He has his (deadbeat) dad's middle name and let me pick the middle name. I picked my dads middle name.

So, my fiance's name is Justin Robert...and our baby will be Justin Ray. I don't think I can use jr since the names arent exactly the same...right? Or can I? I've asked a few people this question and I always get different answers.

Whenever I see a question about breastfeeding in public there are several answers that state something like "You don't urinate in front of strangers so why would you breastfeed?". Do people really think that we're feeding our children excrement? Would these same people like to eat a meal with a blanket over their face, or better yet, in the bathroom?

and this woman is not the person you would wanna be for the rest of your life, you have no intention of marying this woman...but, you kinda care about this woman in a way that you want to help them, and maybee somewhere inside; you think its your baby but you cnnot afford to get a paternity test.

and you feel quite close to the baby, even when youre unsure of whom it belongs to..what would you do, what would you do?

AND, how would you deal if later down the track you found out its not your baby after all, how would you react.

ALSO, what would you do if you were in my shoes, as a human being with mixed emotions...and running away is not an option? whats the best thing one could do to minimise all the negative karma?

I am a women. I have never had abortion. So I guess my question is: why do women say its my body my choice? but it takes two to make a baby, right? Yes, so why shouldn't it be both of your decision?

I had posted a question regarding why I still have not had my period after giving birth 7months ago and finally, my period came and lasted for 5days. After which, it came back again in about 2days time but very little. Now, it's on and off, very little... Does any mothers out there encounter this problem before???

First of all, You're a MAN. Don't think you have a right to speak out against abortion, or criticise a woman who has had an abortion; Once again, You are a MAN. Do you have a VAGINA? Do you have a UTERUS? Do you have a MENSTRUAL PERIOD? Do you know how it feels to be a woman, and to get pregnant? NO, YOU DON'T.

leave women alone! you dont know how it is to be a woman.
i would never criticise a lady who got an abortion because i will never experience something even close to that, so i will never really know how it is.

even if i WERE a WOMAN, i would NEVER criticise a lady who got an abortion because its none of my damn business. abortion is not murder, get over it SUCKERS! even if abortion were murder, why dont you worry about better things that actually affect you? worry about the LIVING BEINGS you are MURDERING! stop eating and wearing ANIMALS, murderers!Stop killing BUGS, murderers! Stop supporting wars killing REAL CHILDREN, murderers!

I support women and their right to choose!
