I am a women. I have never had abortion. So I guess my question is: why do women say its my body my choice? but it takes two to make a baby, right? Yes, so why shouldn't it be both of your decision?

Actually, men have taken women to court and won over this. Men should have a right to thier child same as women.

True, but that is just the nature of the beast, so to speak. Nothing can be completely fair & equal for everyone, especially when talking about gender differences (ie women can birth babies & men cannot). Women cannot always adopt a baby out if the father wants to keep the baby. But yes, women can choose at this time, to abort a baby even if the father wanted to keep it. And men cannot choose to not pay child support if they don't want the baby. Basically, if you don't want to have to pay for a baby you don't want, then just don't have sex with a woman you don't want to get pregnant. That is the bottom line reality of it all. Men have to be responsible for their actions also, & having sex with a woman (which at any time, no matter what, might result in a pregnancy) is the possible outcome of that choice.

If that was the case, I think there would be a lot more abortions. Most men that would even be in that situation don't want to step up and take care of their children. If he had a say so in whether or not she had an abortion, that means there would be more court cases where the "father" goes to court to try to force her to have an abortion. I think its best to just leave it the way it is now...although I don't believe in abortion at all. If you don't want to take responsibility for a child then don't have sex.

That actually happened to one of my guy friends...He lost it and cried every single day because she wanted an abortion and he saw it as his baby....it is absolutely cruel to let a woman abort a mans baby when he is willing to take the baby when she has it and never bother her for child support or anything like that....in the end she kept the baby and he has custody of it....

because..You can't get a DNA test during the time line it takes to be able to have an abortion....Anyone can claim to be that woman's boyfriend and opt for there not to be an abortion. It takes two to make the baby, but it only takes one to have it, it is the woman's choice.

My point of view is never to go for abortion. You will regret. No matter wad, things will work out. I dun encourage abortion. The child is innocent. It's the adult's fault and an act of harshness.

I'm sorry but men just need to deal with the fact that women have the babies and it's her decision whether she wants to have it or not. Before having sex he should ask what she plans to do if she gets pregnant just like you ask about STIs. If he doesn't agree with her, they shouldn't have sex.
