My baby is 16 months old and people are asking me if I am pregnant again. I thought I'd lose weight when I stopped breastfeeding, but I havent.
Any tips welcome.

i have a 15 month old baby and what i did to lose all my weight and more was i breastfed my little one until he was 14 months old and besides that i exercised on a regular basis. know that i stopped breast feeding i gained about 2 pounds but my doctor told me that it was alright. you might think when can i exercise my child doesn't let me do anything. take him/her for a walk in the stroller everyday for at least 15 to 20 minutes and more than likely you will see a difference. i hope i helped good luck and never give up!!

Just be patient. I thought I would never lose the weight, either. But, you'll be fine. I promise. Just playing with your baby will take a lot of that weight off. Don't snack, eat only what is on your plate, if you have any left, throw it away immediately, so that you don't find yourself eating out of the pan or whatever your cooking out of. Every thing that goes in to your mouth counts.

Eat normally, unless it's a lot of fatty foods, but eat smaller portions. Drink more water. Excercise...it doesn't have to be a painful or excessive amount...but do work up a sweat. The excercise you do after you've begun to sweat is what will burn the calories. Also, weight lifiting (just to tone, but again, work up a sweat), burns more calories than just targeting fat. In other words, building muscle will help burn off the fat more quickly.

Good luck!

Patience is the key! A nurse that helped me allot said, "Remember, it took 9 months to put it on, so don't get discouraged if it takes that long or longer." I try to remember that when i feel like it's a never ending battle. Good Luck!

I'm working on the same thing right now. I'm using a free website to track my fat/calories and exercise, and it's working as long as you don't cheat!
