will a dr give the pill to a 15 y/o who is not yet sexualy active but her mom wants her to be protected for when she is?

I'm scheduled to have a pelvic ultrasound but i think its gonna be around the same time I have my period...should i reschedule?

I had a D&E (dialation + evacuation.. where they use a suction instead of curretage) regular with usual cramping. As it was ending, i began to spot a tiny bit of brown blood nothing major and I am not spotting anymore but soemtimes when i whipe myself its very light brown and a tiny bit. I was wandering is this normal?
And if so, can i get pregnant if i were to have unprotected sex now?
** ALSO: I am not asking for you to judge me, I know that I made a mistake and been through a lot because of it.. you can say all the hurtful words you want but none of the words you say can effect me half as much as the abortion itself did**

i have been on my period for almost three weeks now and it acts like it doesnt want to stop i had a baby 8 months ago and i had a period in march that was heavy but ended after a week and then a period in may and then spotting in july and then finally another period that started aug 13 is still going on and was heavy in the begining with small clots and now seems like it is tappering off is this noraml after you have a baby

the father of my child doesnt want anything to do with me after i found out he was cheating on me at 7 months pregnant, im 33 wks now. he claims he only wants the child in his life but hasnt done anything for the baby since the moment he found out, which was in feb. what would make a guy do a complete 180 over nite cause he got caught doin wrong?
the baby is his and i didnt do anything to him for him to all of a sudden not want anything to do with me. and theres things he can do for the baby before he is born like save money, help me buy things for him, etc. buying things for the baby doesnt start the day he's born!!!!

I had an ultra sound done becuase I have no idea how far I am the doctor had an ultra sound and couldn't find anything and had a internal ultra sound as well and nothing was found. He told me it could either be too early or an etopic pregnancy. Now I'm scared anyone know?

y is it that so many ppl male and female think that being a parent, a good parent at that starts at the birth and an excuse for the guy not to help out the mother. she didnt get herself pregnant! her getting pregnant there was two ppl involved but while the baby is developing inside of her, she is the one responsible for everything then the father steps back into the picture after the child is born! no wonder our society is so ****** up!

I recentlly found out that I was expecting. This was a serious shock to me because I thought I was being smart about Birth control but I guess I was in the unlucky 2%. I'm not to excited about it there is so much going on in my life right now. I recently decided to stop working FT and go back to school and also I am dealing with a very sick parent I haven't told anyone because everyone is so worried this would not be celabrated I am seriously considering not having the baby. I have no idea what to do.

I've been searching on the web and in books and can't find a straight answer. I am at 4 weeks postpartum and my bleeding was brown and now it's turning reddish and a little heavier again. I've been breastfeeding only and I haven't been doing more activity. In "What to Expect When You're Expecting" it says not to worry about a "brief episode of painless bleeding at about three weeks". Does that mean that what I'm having is normal? And does anyone know why? I also read online about something called 6 week bleeding, which would cause bleeding to do this also. I'm just looking for more information on this if anyone has any. I would call my doctor but he is off on Thursdays and really hard to get a hold of on Fridays since he works half days. Also one more question, in my book it also says you have to wait to have sex until your lochia has stopped. Is this still true if your doctor said you only have to wait 4 weeks?

In 2003 I gave birth to twin boys that were born at 28 weeks jamin died at one week, jeriah lived for 7 months this whole time I breast feed my child although i couldnt put him too my breast but i pumped and the doctors fed him through a tube.this is my thing my sister during the time my son was in hospital and after he died my sister and other people wanted my to breast feed my niece.(my sister didnt feel like breast feeding, then she stoped and her milk stop coming in) But I wouldnt do it, it was to hard for me. and when I said no people got mad at me, I thought my sister should breast feed her own daughter. It was too hard for me, I wanted my sons to be the first that breast fed. do you think this is selfish, I was already realy depress after my son died so to breast feed my niece just would made me upset.would have done it?

Were you ever on the nuvaring birth control?
Ive been on it since aug.17 . I started it 4 days before my period should have started. I was getting menstraul signs 1 week before i got the ring so figure aug 11.
I im still getting little cramps now and there, sore breast, and an increase on vaginal mucas.
Is this normal when starting the ring?
Will this go away

I am just curious to see what others think about this. I do NOT agree with it. I think it will make the child less independent, not in life in general. But, what if you had to leave the child at the baby-sitters over night, and they are not used to sleeping on their own?? I also think that it can lead to marital problems, man usually ends up on couch. To me, the marital bed is a place for intimacy and romance, not a child. It is just my opinion, and I wish not to offend anyone who disagrees.

All these pre-teens on here posting pictures and asking "Am I pretty?" and "How do I look?" so what do you think of this idea: Let have a cutest/funniest baby picture contest (being the parenting and pregnancy section and all). We could let the first 10 people to sign up be the contestants and then we could have everyone (who isn't a contestant) vote on the pictures. What do you think? I think it'd be pretty fun.
