well dont do it texting, email, or any mobile device. do it over the phone or in person and be honest and talk to him about the positives in the relationship first and then break it to him calmly and easily, like but this is working out for me because .. and state your reason. [wow i sound like a teacher. lol. :D] anyway .. just be gentle and calm about it and tell him you can still be friends and talk, and occasionally hang out. hope i helped. good luck! :]

I am not sure how to dump a 14 year old boy. Do you mean break-up with a 14 year old?

did this myself recently.
if you want to be truthful..tell him you're not feeling a connection and that he is really sweet but you can't help the way you feel;; also tell him you'd like to remain good friends with him(it helps their self esteem)
if you want to lie, then tell him it has to do with your parents, or if you're planning on getting another boyfriend shortly after..tell him you heard from (make up a name or use a name of a person you hate) someone that he was cheating on you and when he tries to convince you tell him you dont believe him.
this will however ruin your chance to be friends.
good luck hun.
