Im looking to name my next child something weird.

I named my first daughter Betty Alice and my son Otis Peter. Those are pretty normal names and people still make fun of them so.

Just name them after you, Frozencheesefrog. At least no one else has!

You need to not think of yourself. You need to think about how your child will feel when they are in school and being picked on for having a strange name! That said, when I was pregnant with my son and I was trying to find a good boys name On yahoo at the time I found a site with Celebrity baby names and some idiot (I can't remember the star's name) actually named theit baby Audio Science!

I went to school with a girl named Draupadi. I thought that was weird.

Someone was here the other day asking our opinion of the name Pagan Jean-Natee for her unborn daughter. That's definitely weird; one answerer thought it sounded like an atheist with cheap perfume.

I wouldn't strive to name my child something weird. Think of all the grief they're going to get in school. I like names that are not trendy or too common, but not weird either; there's a lot of middle ground!

The strangest name I have ever heard of is.....Flatulence. No kidding. The woman asked the Dr to give her a name for her daughter who was her 6th child. (I know the Dr. personally he is quite the prankster sometimes. He did not expect her to actually name her child this.) She apparently did not know the meaning and now has a daughter named Flatulence.

You asked....I answered, but PLEASE do not burden your child with an odd name. Mine was very common...Kimberly every class there 4 or 5 of us. thank goodness cause all I wanted was to blend in, and I did.

Why do you want to give your child a wierd name? Do you want it to be victimised at school? Do you want people constantly saying "oh, that's an unusual name" every time they introduce themselves?

Please stop thinking of yourself, and the self-gratitude you desire by choosing some freakish name like you're some sort of flower-power hippy, and start thinking of your unborn child, and it's future torment if you go ahead with your rediculous idea.

You muppet.

Turtle...isn't that weird??? I think if you are going to name your child something different than normal you should at least call it unique, not "weird." Also it's a good idea that it's not too hard to spell or pronounce.

Arnold Schwarzenegger - and if you name your kid Schwarzenegger Smith or something he will hate your guts. Good luck with that.

P.S. How about something nice like William or Amanda for goodness sakes.

Oh here's another one...

Feces ....but his friends can call him Number 2.
