Hi,
My husband gets supervised visits thru the courts a social worker does the visit and my dad takes them to the visit a social worker at social services does the visit every thing is writen down and when you go to court the judge will know what happens you can request this at court. I have a protective order to keep him away from me and the kids because he was abusive to me and the kids. Do you have attorney if not you can go to legal aid and they will help with custody and visitation that is what I did.

It will be a court-appointed supervisor. Most likely you or the supervisor will take the child to a neutral meeting place. You will not be allowed to stay at the visit. On some occasions, they may allow another family member to be the supervisor. But each situation is different and will be explicitly specified in your order signed by a judge. Be sure to read it carefully because if you do not comply you can be held in contempt. If you do not understand the order ask an attorney.

The courts usually assign a mediator or cop to supervise visits. You are usually not allowed at these visits. This should all be explained to you by the judge or a lawyer.

The court appoints someone to do it, where is your attorney??? Ask him and make sure you understand what you're signing before you sign. I'm worried about you and your child if you don't understand the supervised visit setting and have to ask about it on here!! Make the legal people you're dealing with explain it in terms you can understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
