My babies almost 6 month old. I feed (baby food) them very well before bed. I put them to sleep between 7-7:30 or sometimes 8. They wake up at 2 and then again at 5. I mean shouldn't they sleep more then 3 hours after 2. I mean what should i do, i even put cereal in their 2 am bottle, but they still wake up. I hardlyy sleep anymore, i thought they would grow. And when i do leave them at 5, they roll-over the bed and play. What should i do, it getting crazy.

Any advice

I was wondering how long after you had a baby did your stretch marks started to fade from a purple color? Anything speed up the process. Thanks

My son is 4 and a half months old and really struggles with constipation. My sister told me to give him liquid paraffin but I just need a little more info on it and maybe some personal experiences with it...

I just hired a19 year old to watch my baby 5 hours a day/5 days a week. She let me know that her last job (same hours) paid her sick time and vacation time after 6 months. First of all, she's part time. In a normal job, you don't get those benefits when you're part time. Second of all, she's a baby sitter. And I've never heard of that sort of compensation for baby sitters! Should I be covering these off-times??

I have been storing breast milk in freezer for two weeks, but my kid does not seem to drink it at all, but the milk I pump and give her in two days, she drinks well. What could be going on? Also there is yellow layer on top of milk in spite of heating it and it smells normal to me. How do I know if it has gone bad or what is happening. My kid keeps getting upset tummy, is it related to that?

My son is 3 months old and I have breastfed him since day one... I can't imagine doing it any other way... I feel so proud looking at him and knowing that I have fed him every day of his life and have been the one to keep him alive! It is such an incredible feeling.. I want to nurse until at least 9 months... just curious how long everyone else breastfed for?

I have been feeding her some table food sometimes for over a month now. Her favorite to eat throughout the day if she had her way would be her cheerios. Seems like ever since i started her on food she won't take any of her baby jars anymore. She'll still eat her cereal every now and then. She'd rather just eat what were eating. Is she getting enough of what she needs and if not what should i be feeding her?

My son is 6 weeks old and loves to eat! He is eating usually 4 ounces every 2 hours at night and 3 1/2 - 4 ounces during the day. Lately during the day hes not making it the 2 hours and wants to eat after an hour and a half. He takes forever to eat, so by the time hes done, he takes a little nap and is hungry again in 30 minutes. Im not sure what to do..should I try to make him eat more at one time? Or should I just roll with what hes doing? Hes always hungry (hes a chub-chub lol) Ive also recently switched formula because he is very very gassy. Hes now on Enfamil for fussy and gassy babies. How long should I give it to see if its okay for him? If you have a gassy baby that spits up, what formula worked for you? Thanks everyone :)

My 3 week old daughter is suffering from a mild colic. Despite frequent burping (after every ounce) she gets really gassy and although she doesn't spit up very much, the gas is making her miserable and she cries a lot and it's hard for her to sleep/stay asleep. I actually have her sleeping in her carseat now at night as sleeping in her bassinnette seems to make the problem worse. She's better when she's not flat on her back. I took her to the pediatrician yesterday and all she could say is that this is very common in newborns and went on to explain that a newborns digestive system can have a hard time at first but it should get better at around 3 months. She says that three months is "happy time" Geez, I hope so! Is this true? Will it get better at around 3 months?

I am 30 weeks pregnant and I plan on breastfeeding if I can. I have heard that you can't diet while breast feeding but I have found that the weight watchers program has a program for nursing moms so I plan to go by that. I had a friend at work tell me that when you eat your body will nourish you before making milk for the baby. She said that if I work out for an hour and say I burn 1,000 calories that I would have to replace those calories in order to produce enough milk for the baby. Is this true? I'm so confused about all the dos and don'ts involved with breastfeeding please help... :(

What objects do you allow your baby to touch or oral-explore (under supervision) that aren't really for babies?

I just want to know __what other parents allow__.

i know foward facing chairs states from 9kg or nine months of age. His chair sits rearwards aswell as fowards and he doent look small in it.
Im not sure if i should put him in it facing fowards or not, it would make life easier but obviously his safety comes first.

I have been given advice by everyone, lots of mothers, who have said they are a good idea and others who say they are a waste of money. I want the baby close to me at night, and I have a pack and play, but our apt. bedroom is so small and my husband thinks a bassinet would be a waste of money. He says the baby will be fine in her own room with a monitor beside her. (This coming from a man who I had to convince to even get a monitor)..Will a baby be fine sleeping in her nursery right after birth or is it better for mommy and baby to have her in the bedroom close by?

Im living in M'sia. My mum in law told me that it is not good to give him nite bath because of the humidity of the weather here. Saying that he might catch cold and stuff like that.

But i think my baby loves nite bath, especially when i give him massage after bathing. He'll straight go to sleep then.

I have read over and over all these people on here putting down formula feeding mothers .. why is it so important to YOU how they feed THEIR child?
I'm just curious?
I have read sooo many negative responses when a woman asks a question about formula .. why do you breastfeeding mothers bother to read the question if you are so anti formula?
Why don't you just skip that question and go to the next?
Does it give you some kind of power trip because you breastfeed your child? Do you need that pat on the back?
I just don't get it.
Why is it SO important to you that they don't formula feed their child??
(and for all the breastfeeding mothers who answer those questions with an honest, nice, helpful answer .. thanks!)

I breastfeed my child (and give her formula occasionally) but I would NEVER think to criticize someone for strictly giving their child formula .. how does their choice in feeding their child affect me? or my child?
Someone please shed some light on this ..
