The hospital gave me this thing to clean out my son's nose, but I can't remember what they called it, so I just call it the snot sucker.

Nasal Aspirator or Bulb Aspirator. If you want to get another one, 'Fess, Lil Noses' has one with the saline solution you drop into the nose before sucking the snot out.

We call it the snot sucker too though!!!

Best of luck, hope your son is okay.

It's a nasal aspirator. In our family, we call it a booger sucker. I just bought one for my little girl not long ago. It is battery operated & sucks the snot out like crazy. It plays a little song to distract the baby. My daughter actually likes it. I believe the brand name is Bebe & it was around $20 at BabiesRUs.

Poor little guy, It could of been the shot side affects or maybe the Drs office but what you could do to try relieve him a little is by using those Vicks Vaporizers with the hot steam coming out of them. I love it and works well when my boys have colds . Also that Vicks Baby Rub, its Vicks to rub on their little chest and its specially for babies with a pink top. You could even try if he is really uncomfortable a nice warm bath with the J & J vapor bedtime bath, its a green bottle and has them breathe a little better and be a little more relaxed. I understand your concern I am the same way and hate seeing my babies sick, but try that and keep giving them your TLC and lots of fluids as well and he is sure to be just fine soon! If not and you hear the congestion starting to flare up more or his cough worsen, def take him in to see his Dr, he might need antibiotics. Any wheezing? Also a little tylenol here and there if you see is just not happy, he may have a little headache. Before bed I would def give him a little so he can sleep well. Hope I could be of some help to you and hope your little guy feels better! :) take care and God bless!
