I was wondering how long after you had a baby did your stretch marks started to fade from a purple color? Anything speed up the process. Thanks

Anything with cocoa or shea butter in it will help. It helps the skin become more elastic again. But sometimes stretch marks never go away. I've had mine since my kids were born and that was almost 12 years ago. Good luck.

i never had anything speed up the process, I dont know exactly how long it was i didnt keep track of it, but it was only a few months. dont rush. it will happen! after 3 kids and lots of stretch marks you wouldnt actually be able to see mine if you didnt sit and really look!

Mine weren't purple. However, I have not paid attention as to whether or not they disappeared. Stretch marks are a part of pregnancy and not a medical problem, so I wasn't concerned. Also, tanning might help in "hiding" them, but are the risks of skin problems from tanning really worth it?
