My baby is almost 6 months and I am looking forward to hitting the gym back up again. But I was just wondering if any moms out there experienced taking their babies at 6 months to be watched in the babysitting area at the gym... and if so was the experience good or bad?

I lost my second baby on October 5, 2007... the first one was completely unexpected we had no idea we were pregnant...and we lost HER on MARCH 17, 2005...this time however, it has been devestating for me, although the first time was horrible also this time the baby wasn't planned but we were ready and almost expecting to get preggy...my husband blocks sh*t rather well and only cried in the doctors office...like last time we lost the baby... I pretend to hide it but little things (babies in supermarkets, baby magazines, commercials, ANYTHING BABY) makes me wanna just brake down and cry....he can pretend AMAZINGLY well...it drives me NUTS that he can do this..even though i dont cry hardly at all anymore...(I only cried(sobbing) for the first 3-4 days BOTH times) even though THIS time I do cry more often and i can't pretend NEARLY as well..... I feel like i am going CRAZY!!! My husband seems upset sometimes but not very often...Does ANYONE know what could cause him to do this??!!

What worked best for your baby?? I need some advice. I've done everything my peiatrician told me to do and people still tell me I'm doing wrong. My son is not gaining weight due to the reflux. So he is on cereal, in the bottle, thats the only thing working at the moment. He will not eat from a spoon yet. Trust me, Ive tried for weeks and the pediatrician said he's definately not ready. What else am I supposed to do? He is very underweight right now due to the reflux. I just started the cereal 5 dyas ago. If its working, he has no more projectile vomiting, no more screaming and he has an appetite now. Then what else should I do? I mean if people keep telling me how bad it is to give him cereal, then please tell me what I'm supposed to do. His doctor will NOT put him on meds because of other health issues. So please to the people who keep telling me not to do it, then you tell me what else to do. He has to keep his formula down due to poor weight gain, and hes finally keeping it down.

If my son is going to have curly hair .. at what age should that come in?
He's 3 months old and still hasn't lost his birth hair.
My husband and I are both very blonde [my hair is naturally curly and his is stick straight].
I had really curly hair as a baby [shirley temple like] and I still have those curls!
But since my husband has stick straight hair .. is there more of a chance he'll have straight hair? [being that they are both males?]
I've always gotten compliments on my curls and I'm hoping he gets them too! :]
Also, when will his eyes change to our color blue [his dad and I have very blue eyes]? but my baby still has the grey/blue eyes that all babies are born with.
When will they start to turn our color blue?

My son just turned 4 months. His Acid Reflux has peaked very bad. Projectile vomiting with every feeding, not gaining weight, wheezing, screaming and crying, not getting enough fluids, etc. I just asked a question about cereal in the bottle and all the response were, its bad, its not recommended. I was just asking about switching, I do not want people telling me not to do it. He just started rice cereal in the bottle about 5 days ago. And he's a completly different baby. He's happy, no screaming or crying anymore, no more vomiting, he's keeping everything down now. I tried spoon feeding him, he is NOT ready. People just dont understand, if they have never gone through it. But If I can I would really like to keep him off th meds. But the problem now is he's getting constipated and not enough wet diapers. Should I switch to a different cereal? he's getting rice now. Is it ok to put oatmeal in the bottle?? DONT answer if you dont have experience. Any other advice for Acid Reflux. THANKS

My son (4 months old) recently started on rice cereal mixed in his bottle due to Acid Reflux. It has helped tremendously, he stoped spitting up and having projectile vomit. He still spits up but its like normal spit-up now. He doesnt scream and cry with every feeding now. Thank god!! But now he's getting constipated and not having as many wet diapers. Should I switch to oatmeal?? He's getting rice right now. I've heard rice can be binding and cause constipation. Is it ok for him at 4 months to switch to oatmeal?? Or is there another kind I should try before oatmeal?? And is it ok to put others besides rice in the bottle?? I need some advice please. First time Mom, and I'm just not sure about cereal. Thank you tons!! And please dont tell me not to put cereal in his bottle, I would rather do that than put him on meds, besides its been a complete turn around, he's a completly different baby now. Before he jut seemed miserable all the time. Thanks!!

My precious baby boy will be 5 months old this Thursday, and I am almost positive he has started teething. He has been cranky lately, refuses his cereal at times, biting EVERYTHING. When did your baby get his first tooth, and how long did the symptoms last before the tooth broke through? What were his symptoms? and what worked best as far as relief for your baby? THANKS!

When I have baby #2 I will have a c-section again. So I'll be in the hospital about 3-4 nights. I'm with my child (baby #1) everyday, all day, I'm a stay at home mom. She'll be a little over two and I don't know how she'll do without me for that long. I'm really concerned about it. Does anyone have any advice from personal experience that could help me? Thanks!

as per my last question i am concerned if my son is getting enough to eat, he usually gets around 15 ounces a day, weighs 8 pounds, he has two doctors, one says i need to get him eating 20 ounces a day, and the other says he should be fine as long as he says over 12 or so ounces a day,
i'm so confused! i breastfeed but use a bottle because he has a cleft palate and cannot latch properly.
my question now is, is it normal for breatfed babies to eat less then formula fed babies??

My daughter is 3 months and 3 weeks. When she was first born (4 weeks early) she wouldnt latch on so there fore I was unable to breastfeed. My mom contacted a lactation consultant and they said to keep trying every day. So I tried for a couple weeks then just "gave up". Tonight I thought I would give it a try again. She actually latched on and stayed on for about 20 minutes. Is this normal for her to want to breastfeed 3 months after birth? How do I know if she is getting enough? I need as much advice as I can get because I would like to breastfeed if it is possible.
