If my son is going to have curly hair .. at what age should that come in?
He's 3 months old and still hasn't lost his birth hair.
My husband and I are both very blonde [my hair is naturally curly and his is stick straight].
I had really curly hair as a baby [shirley temple like] and I still have those curls!
But since my husband has stick straight hair .. is there more of a chance he'll have straight hair? [being that they are both males?]
I've always gotten compliments on my curls and I'm hoping he gets them too! :]
Also, when will his eyes change to our color blue [his dad and I have very blue eyes]? but my baby still has the grey/blue eyes that all babies are born with.
When will they start to turn our color blue?

Bugsy - I lost all my birth hair .. I was bauld until I was 6 months old :]

I'm just curious about the features thing because my husband and I both have the same features [blonde hair / blue eyes] but my hair is curly and his hair is straight. Most of my sons features we can't tell which side they came from, so the hair will be destinctive :]

My dad and mom are blonde .. my husbands dad is brown haired and his mom is blonde .. so my sons grandpa [on daddys side] is the only brown haired family member .. so the blonde hair is a guarantee. He's blonde now .. but it's straight blonde hair .. I'm just curious as to when it would start to get curly [if it's going to].

yeah, what Illyana'a Mommy said. get a real job instead of working at burger king, you definitly arent ready financially for a baby. get married and get a college degree. those smilies are so immature by the way. what are you, 5?

working at burger king odes NOT make you financially stable. ;-)

Gee, I hope you'll still love him if he's darker haired and eyed than you two.

Even though both of you are extremely blonde/blue, the baby is more closely related to the four grandparents and will take on their characteristics, or even possibly skip the previous generation (8 great-grandparents) and pick up traits from the next set up the line (16 great-great-grandparents).

That's why we never know exactly what we're going to get, as kids aren't clones of the parents, but a mix of two gene pools. If I were you, I'd think more about his cute little personality, which, of course, will be all his own! ;-)

I think you should stop focusing on the physical appearance of your kid. It's fun for all of those things to come as a surprise.

but p.s., "lost his birth hair" ... ? it's rare babies lose all the hair they were born with.

"bauld" ? ... lol
