My 3 month old son went to sleep around 7 pm and before that only had about 2 and a half ounces, when he got up at 12 thirty am his diaper felt like he wnt once (if even that). Should I be worried.

I have a question before this one that goes hand in hand with this question.

I think that is pretty normal. Sometimes my daughters diaper feels pretty dry when she has had lots to drink and sometimes it is pretty wet when she has not drank much. It changes. You should just wait and see what his diapers are like during the day tomorrow. If they still seem a little dry to you, then you should call the doctor just to see what they have to say.

I would not be worried about diapers, sometimes babies leave diaper extremely wet and sometimes dry, depending on several factors, but i am amazed how long he slept. From 7 pm to 12:30 am, that's over five hours! Did you use that time to sleep? If you did not, well, That would be a mistake.

I wouldnt be worried, that sounds pretty normal. The next few feedings, I would make sure he's having enough wet diapers. If it still seems like not enough, then I would call the pediatrician. He may just recommend pediolite if he's not peeing enough. Which will help put fluids back into him so he wont get dehydrated. That happend to my son and a few bottles of pediolite he was fine.

Some babies don't wet in their sleep. My first one was like that when he was that little. He didn't wet for a few minutes after he woke up.

Look in his diaper next time and see if you can see the discoloration. If he wet in it at all, it would feel a little different than the dry spots and you should be able to see the spot in it.

If you are worried, talk to your baby's doctor. Especially if you don't feel like he's wetting enough. Give him a little more time. Some things take a while to digest.

i'm starting to find that my 3.5 month old daughter is not peeing as much in the nighttime when she's sleeping as well. it's kind of the same as us not peeing while we sleep. as long as your son still has 4-6 wet diapers a day, its fine, if he doesnt, then you should check with your doctor.

i wouldn't be worried if he only had 2 oz then he just peed it out .The more you drink the more you pee. butif he keeps drinking like that then i would be worried but it sounds like he was just so tired he just wanted a little bit to go to sleep.GOOD LUCK!!
