A parent that has their lil children or babies vaccinated says that they dont want any un-vaccinated children or babies around them because they are like a threat to them, health wise. But isnt that child suppose to be protected from illnesses with those vaccines?

Shouldn't the parent with the un-vaccinated child be the one concerned about them being around a vaccinated child since they are injected with the virus??

This is really confusing to me.... I hear and read this all the time..
Whats up with that?

Hi. In about a month, my husband and I are driving to the beach with our baby girl, who by then will be 6,5 months old. I'm taking her to her monthly appt before we leave and I will ask the Dr then. I just wanna hear experiences, tips and advice from mommies who have gone to the beach with babies. This is our 1st long trip (10-11 hrs), we are very excited about it.
Please don't tell me to stay home, WE ARE going. Thank you all!!

He is 9 1/2 months old and when I put him to cry himself to sleep he throws up. I let him cry for about 15 minutes and then I go to him. There has to be another way to put him to sleep. It breaks my heart to see him cry and throw up. Please someone help me. What are some other ways that I can put him to sleep without crying or throwing up.

My daughter is 6.5 months old. She hasn't had a bowel movement in almost 4 days. She pushes every once in a while but nothing is coming out. I know it is bothering her. I have given her pear juice which usually works, but not this time. Should I call the doc? How much longer should I wait?

My son's arm pits seem to be swollen. I made him a Dr. appointment for this afternoon i was just wondering if anyone else has had this happened to their child. I also have another question. I was trying to do those infant massages on him and i was rubbing on the back of his head behind his ear and i could feel like a little ball. It was probably the size of a pea. He is also getting that checked out today. I'm just a worried mom and who doesn't want to wait that long to find out what's wrong. Can anyone help?!

My new grandchild is having problems because nowadays they do not give mother a endema before the birth and gross as it sounds he swallowed some of moms fecal material on his way out.
25 years ago my daughter stopped breathing at 2 weeks, I was in labour for only 2 hours and they didn't have time to give me anything. She lived but it was a scary time. To this day I don't think the doctors knew what happened to her. They told me it was a urine infection that made her stop breathing. HELLO! I am pretty sure that wasn't the cause! Grrr! some doctors really bug me with their diagnoises!

God I am full of questions as I research things I find myself asking more questions hehe. Well I am pregnant. We make 2 grand a month take home (after taxes). I do not work I am a stay at home housewife. Also, in the process of appeal for disability (ssdi & ssi) and have been for almost a year now. I have researched keeping cost down and still getting everything I need for the new baby. I am getting a little scared I might not be able to afford everything, medical, supplies, furniture. I still got a long ways to go with my pregnancy and as I said I rsearched what is best for newborn baby to grow with and saves money at the same time. But I am still a bit nervous. We want to move before baby is born but not sure how we will be able to save with regular bills necessities and rent. As well as buying baby stuff. Anyone have any advice or ideas.

I have been breastfeeding for 6 weeks now and recently like the past 2 days my boobs feel really sore especially around the nipple area. Like a hot burning pain. My boobs are always hard and sore even right after I finish nursing or pumping why is this and what can I do about it. Could I have some kind of infection. I only nurse at one breast a feeding because I have more milk than my baby needs and then at the next feeding he takes the other side so whats the problem.

OH and please don't ask me why I pump because everytime I post a question people ask "why are you pumping" and tell me that I shouldn't be pumping. That's not part of the question so don't bother mentioning that.

We recently moved and we have a 4 year old son, well I had to get all his shot records mailed to us. Is it true after the age of 3 getting their last shots for that age they don't get another until age 4? I am not sure about this and we are in the process of getting a new physician so if anyone knows or has a list of the vaccines they need please help. many thanks

There is large controversy over babies that have been born bi-gendered. Should the parent pick which gender the baby must live out its life to be? I believe it should be the kids decision, and unless any medical problems come up that the parents hould wait long enough that the kid will tell them whether they are a boy or girl. Then, a surgery cn be done... Does anyone support me on this?

When does a baby start to clap there own hands and do you have to help them along the way
will they learn it all on there own without being shown? or do they mimic you?

I've read that now most doctors are saying that instead of going by physical age to determine when to give a baby solids, that you should go by developmental age. When a baby can sit supported, then you should start them on cereal and "First foods". My son is three months old and can sit supported, he even pulls himself up into a sitting position(he can maintain it for about five seconds) BUT I thought you were supposed to wait until 4 months to start with the cereal and baby food. Should I start giving my son some cereal or should I wait another month? I do have a call in to his doctor and should be hearing from them this afternoon. Just wanted to hear some other mothers' opinions.
