I gained 75 with my girls, and still am trying to lose....I have 30 to go. I am breastfeeding, which they say helps, but I have plateaued over the last month or so. The girls are 5 months, and I am hoping over the next 6-8 mos I can lose it all (SOONER I wish, lol)
I walk a lot with the stroller, and drink a lot of water. I have heard pilates work really well, and yoga as well...but I don't have time for that with 2 infants. LOL

Oh my god, I gained a ton with my first kid, like over 60 lbs!!! I was a huge freaking whale. To tell u the truth I dont know how or when i lost it, i just woke up one day and it was gone, honest. Right after he was born, and i mean right after, like the next day, i could actually see my shin bones again, cause a lot of it was water weight. But i had a gut too, dont get me wrong, and stretch marks. Those never went away but the gut did. I am naturaly a very active person and I have a lot of horses that I ride every day and I clean out their stalls, etc. It helps that its over 100 degrees down here in the lone star state too, I sweated a lot of it off. I dranks lots of water and did a few situps but who the he11 has time for all that excersise? Especially with a new baby!! Oh I also did leg lifts and walked around with ankle weights on all day to build up muscle. It takes time, but dont worry about it, you are who you are and look what you have to show for those hard earned extra pounds!! A beautifull baby~!

If you breastfeed you will lose it quicker, well your uterus shrinks quicker and I have heard it will help you lose the weight quicker too....Do anything to get moving...the pelvic tilt is good, crunches, inner thigh lifts, squats, stretches...ect..walking is always good, or swimming. Just be sure you are all "healed" and back to normal and the doctor gives you the OK to start exercising.
I gained about 40-50 with each one of mine. The first one I lost it pretty easy (was younger then) the second one it took a while longer to lose. Just be patient it will come off if you work at it and when they start moving around you are chasing them all the time!
Best of Luck!

Gabrielle Reece was on Oprah once doing excercises (with her baby) on a fitness ball. I found too that light bouncing on the ball was also great for calming a baby. My kids, now toddlers, still like playing with it, so highly recommend that.

Also highly recommend a jogging stroller or walking with a bjorn, anything to multi-task, which comes in really handy for new parents.
