He is on Karicare AR and has been since 3 weeks when i weaned because of bringing up breast milk. Came good for a while but since last friday has been spewing about 2 times a day either food or milk (most of food and all of milk) each time. I am at my wits end. i want to be able to take him out somewhere and not worry about taking spare clothes and towels and a change of clothes for myself.
If anyone has any suggestions please. I am willing to try almost anything.
thanks.

For the last 2+ wks. my son has been sleeping from ~9pm-2am/2:30am-5am, and even 8:30pm-4:30am twice. The last 4 days or so he has been waking up ~3-4 times btwn. ~8:30pm-5am. We haven't changed our routine at all. Does anyone know why this is, and if it will go back? Also, is it wrong to sleep in a different room as my baby and just wake up when I hear him cry?

I am trying to think of a better way to make my baby's formula. I have heard of people keeping sterilized water in the fridge but since you have to sterilize the bottles, the nipples, and everything else, do you have to sterilize the water pitcher too? And how do I do that? It's too big to fit in my pot...

I was wondering if it is too soon to take my 12 day old baby for a walk outside in a stroller, or one of those strap on body carriers? I would be on a slightly bumpy sidewalk, nothing out of the ordinary and I was thinking like 30 minutes? I don't know if he is too tiny yet, or if it would shake him up too much. He just seems so fragile! Thanks for your help.

My son was put on Axid about a month ago for reflux. He was doing great until the past couple days. His old symptoms are arising. Could it be that he may need a larger dosage? He weighs almost 13lbs. His dosage when prescribed last month was 1ml twice daily.

My baby is 6 weeks old and we are going to an outdoor reunion this afternoon at 4:00. I'm a little worried because he is so young and it is sunny and hot today (30 Celcius). Is he to young to be outside with just a hat for shade and sun protection? I could keep him in his carseat in the stroller, but it gets so hot.

Please help. My 5 month old has been trying new foods and got constipated. I stopped letting her have anything besides the breast and rice cereal once a day and some water. But she's still only having the equivalent of wet farts in her diapers. I'd prefer it be a natural cure if you could help I'd be very thankful....

My 5 mth old son is usually a very laid back happy baby.. He sleeps 12 hours at night, and ever since he was 3 months old, we put him down in his crib awake, and he falls asleep on his own.. He had a cold once before, but at that time, he just kind of whined throughout the night and I would jut get up to put his pacifier in his mouth. He just got a cold that is keeping him up all night screaming! Last night, I almost took him to the hospital because he just would not stop wailing, even when I was holding him.. I have a few questions - first, is it normal for a baby to cry like this when they have a cold? he is very congested.. two, is there anything I can do to shorten the lengivity of this cold.. Three, aside from draining his nose, inclining his bead, using a humidifier, and putting vicks on him,is there anything I can do to make him feel better? and lastly, I finally just put him to bed with me, and he slept in my bed for the first time ever.. Am I teaching him a bad habit?

I've bruised easily before, but lately, it seems whenever I hit something (mainly my arms or legs) I get a bruise. I have no other symptoms except tiredness, probably from baby!, and sometimes don't even remember what could have caused such a noticeable bruise. It started happening about 2 months ago when my hair started falling out (which I know is normal for a lot of women about 4months AFTER you have a baby), has anyone else experienced this. I am breastfeeding too, and don't know if that can cause maybe a vitamin deficiency???? Thanks for the help.....and yes I know I should see a doctor which I have an appointmnet for in a week!!!!!!!!

Have a 2 month old boy, won't sleep through the night. Wakes every hour or so. Spits up quite a bit. Is GERD or relux hereditary? I have GERD myself.

Just curious to know what your experience was. I didn't even know that could happen. I was in labor and not progressing very well. When the doctor finally came to check me, he said my baby was breached. An ultrasound earlier that week showed everything was great and the head was dropped. I ended up having an emerg. C-section. When my son came out the cord was wrapped around his neck 4-5 times quite tightly. It was very traumatic.
I was so shocked by the whole situation. Is it very common for a baby to do a flip like that? Thank God our son is healthy, but I shudder to think of what could have happened.

he sleeps deeply all day long and will wake every hour during the night. I know he is quite young, but how do i help him regulate his sleeping patterns so we can all get at least a little more sleep then we have been?

My older kids never had this problem so I have no prior experience to fall back on with this one.

He use to eat 6 oz every 4 hours. Lately he only has been taking 3 oz and cries a lot. He seems hungry but then doesn't eat. We began solids at 4 months and he still eats that but his milk is dropping. What is the minumum he must have and are there any ideas to get him to drink his milk. I do believe he is teething. Lots of saliva and constantly putting his hands in his mouth. I've tried teethers but he doesn't want them. Ialso tried oralgel. I also combine breast feeding and bottle but he really hates the breast now. I just wonder to what point is it really a problem or do I just ride it out until his teeth pull through. I also notice he has NOT lost any weight but is slowly gaining compared to before.
