At this time her rectal muscles are not under her control so you do not want to give her a laxitive. This will make her push it out not matter how hard it is and that could scare her.
Give her some prune juice or grape juice. Take a q-tip, dip it in vaseline and swab the inside of her anus. This will her pass a bowel movement.

Rice Cereal all together can cause a baby to eventually become TERRIBLY consitpated, also trying new foods can too, so try feeding her Prunes, a whole thing is she'll take.. or if that doesnt work go to the store and by DARK KAYRO SYRUP and mix some in her bottles of formula or breast milk or in water and that loosens up the B.M. in there and will help your daughter was a bowl movement..
Also laying them on the floor, and takeing both legs and moving the legs up & down like take the legs in a bicylce motion up the the belly and down and that can help too, maybe a hot bath also can help.. But my daughter has a hard time with bowl movements and i feed her Prunes, give her Kayro if that doesnt work.. and its always nice when she is trying to get it out to do the leg motions, it makes it easier for her..
good luck

Try getting some rhubarb and stew it with sugar to a level that she will eat it. (Boil it down with just rhubarb cut small with sugar till its thick enough to be a syrup)
Then run it through a blender to make it small enough for a baby to eat, rhubarb is a natural way to fix that problem. The fiber from the skin and the rhubarb will work very quickly. If you eat a lot of it you will get diarrhea so have lots of diapers handy.
A friend at work had that problem with her kids and she had used everything the doctors had given her to no avail so I told her this old remedy, what she did was after she stewed it she poured it over icecream and told her kids it was New kids on the block desert so they would eat it and they did.
Problem solved, she was shocked that the remedy was in her backyard all along.

whilst we presented powdered formula to my infant at 3 months it constipated her for 5 days. She might scream in discomfort. We gave her a serving of a million/2 tsp in 2oz of heat water before a feed then yet another serving before her next feed. It took approximately 12 hours yet wiped clean her perfect out.we don't feed her powdered in any respect, and for the 1st 2 weeks on liquid formula we placed a million/2 tsp in a 4oz bottle until she have been given use to it then stopped. no issues for the reason that. good success.

i've been told that baby rice, apples and bananas can cause constipation, so maybe try some pears or veges instead for a few days. my boy was always constipated with formula, and started going regularly once i started him on solids at 4 months. he's now 5 months and i've steered clear of the baby rice, he won't take it anyway. my friend suggested custard rather than rice, just make it up with your breastmilk, rather than cows milk. hope it helps.

My best guess is: she is too young for 'solids' aka 'rice cereal', digestive system is not ready. Also; try only one formula at a time for a week or so to gauge reaction to digestive system. Try and introduce only one food group at a time to young children. Lactose intolerance is a huge issue with infants, breast milk is always best. Good luck and congratulations on your new precious life !

If she is already eating baby food, try giving her a few spoonfuls of the prunes. Don't give her too much or you will have a terrible mess to clean up.

A little prune juice mixed with water in a bottle or some prune puree or baby prunes. Works well.
