MY SON IS NOT BORN YET.
HOWEVER, CAN I HAVE THEM MAIL THE SS CARD TO THE NEW ADDRESS IN ANOTHER STATE IF I HAVE IT AT THE TIME OF BIRTH?
OR, CAN I JUST GO TO A SS OFFICE IN THE NEW STATE AND GET ONE THERE?

Call the hosptial where the baby was born and ask for the social worker. Some hospitals have one on staff. Or, call the maternity ward, they probably know or have dealth with similar situations. People move all the time nowadays.

If your son is not born yet you might not have anything to worry about. If he is born when you are at the new address just make sure SS has the new address and the birth certificate can be mailed to any address. However neither of those can be forwarded so if he is born before you move make sure the first thing you do is call and update your info.

BC 10 days after birth. The SS card can take a few weeks longer.

6-8 weeks normally. Get them sent to a relatives house, I don't believe they forward government documents.
