it varies. my daughter was about 7 months and my son was 13 months

My 1st daughter started waving at 6 months. A diff wave for hello and good bye. My other two kids were waving at about 10 months.

Every baby is different, but my daughter started to wave both hi and bye bye at 8 months.

My little one did it at 11 months (almost a year), then stopped, started again at about 14 months, Just before 18 month needle started also saying bye about this time. Normally before a year, it is considered to be reflexive and not really a true wave but every child is different

sometimes 6 mths but it is by opening and closing their little hand it is so cute
