my newborn is one month to day and I am going to breastfeed for another month than most likely stop, but I was wondering what happens to the breast? So they get super big and heavy with milk and I can't pump? Do they stay this huge size for ever? I just wanted to get an answer from other moms.

what age should you give your baby floor time?

Its been cold outside, so of course now the air inside my house is very dry and there is a lot of static electricity. My husband and I are going to get a humidifier. My baby has really dry flaking skin right now, any recommendations for anything to treat it, good moisturizing creams etc.

i was packing my house getting ready for a move when i looked up to find my 11 month old son sucking on a battery out of our remote control. i feel horrible! im hopeing he didnt have it in his mouth for long. but just in case, does anyone know if it will have an effect on him. i know batteries contain acid but i didnt know how easily it was to dispense of it.

My 8 month old recently started bobbing her head (she kind of looks like she's head banging at a rock concert). She doesn't get hurt and only does it for a few seconds. Is this normal? btw she can hold her head up very well, it's not like her neck is weak, she is doing it on purpose.

My friend has just phoned me to tell me she has had a baby boy, and coz i am looking after her eldest son while her and her hubby are at hospital, her eldest has just broken down in tears about the whole thing, and says he hates his new brother already.

There have been alot of problems with my friends pregnancy which meant her being in and out of hospital for the last few months, which came as a shock to her eldest as he had never been seperated to her before.

He told me a few months age that he hated the baby, and it hadnt even been born yet!

Just wondering what you all think i can say to help him through it, coz we are all pretty close, and he talks to me alot about things. I dont want to say the wrong thing, but i need to know WHAT to say...any ideas?

i just bought 3 tubes of lansinoh from ebay for $5 and that includes shipping. the seller emailed me and said she noticed they are expired and she doesn't want to sell them to me anymore.

i think they are still safe to use and it is a great price. what does everybody else think?

tell me what you think of it, i dont want my child to have name issues. i case you think its too hard to pronounce please say so but it is the same as baylee, but with a z. and also let me know if you think is should spell it differently like Zaiyli or what ever you can think of.

For the last 7 months we have engaged in the same bedtime ritual without incident -- bath, book, [breast for first 5 months] now bottle (with singing), bed. However, for the last four nights, my 8 month old son won't take the bottle from me. I have always given him the bottle (because the first 5 months it was breastfeeding and we just transitioned to the bottle later). My husband was able to give it to him, but he begins to fuss right after I put the book down and pick up the bottle. I am stumped as to what is going on. Any ideas?

Hi - I didn't know how to reply to your reply, so was your son's situation similar, the skin is totally infused to the glans instead of below? The head is not exposed fully when erect or if you try to pull the skin back. And your son outgrew it on his own? I am nervous about then saying they can't do anything about it, and it will always be like that.
