Hi - I didn't know how to reply to your reply, so was your son's situation similar, the skin is totally infused to the glans instead of below? The head is not exposed fully when erect or if you try to pull the skin back. And your son outgrew it on his own? I am nervous about then saying they can't do anything about it, and it will always be like that.

I was totally convinced my son did not have enough taken off and there was a point at about 7 months or so where I began to get concerned that it was like, sticking and was going to get stuck around him. I just sort of left it and treated it as if he actually had a foreskin. You know how they say don’t pull it back etc until your child is old enough to pull it back.

Now, my son will be 4 in April and it’s been fine for I’d say at least a year. The glans is completely exposed and it looks totally normal now.

I really don’t think you have to worry but if you are truly concerned you should talk to your doctor. Please don’t try and pull the skin back – it made my son cry when I tried, but it really is okay now.

Feel free to e-mail me if you have more questions,
