I think with middle names you really need to see how they flow with the first and last name. Also think about family names that have sentimental meanings such as your grandparents

girl: Alana Jean
Kaydince Alexis
Kira Justine

Boy: Jayden Matthew
Payton Noah

Don't think I can reasonably comment without knowing the first and/or last name to see how it flows, how many syllables altogether, how simple, difficult, or fancy the first and last names are to spell or pronounce, etc.

In general, I believe that if a child has a difficult last name to spell or pronounce, don't hinder the child (or anyone who needs to spell it for a form or mailing label, etc.) even more with a cutesy, complicated first or middle name.

If a child has a simple, nondescript last name with few syllables (Smith, Jones), then go for a name that is more complicated, sophisticated, or even cutesy for a first OR middle name.
