Well they're supposed to double their birth weight at 6 months, so I would say he's in the higher part of the curb, but it also relates to height and you didn't list that. So he's chunky, but he was chunky to begin with, so it's pretty normal.

He is a big boy but he was born a big boy. My son is 6 months old and weighs 20lbs 13ozs. He weighed 8lbs 5 ozs at birth and weighed just under 15 at his 2 month check up

Sounds like he's right on track. My daughter's pediatrician told me that the only time you need to be concerned about weight is if they don't seem to be gaining much, if at all, or if they gain a LOT (more than a few pounds) over just a couple of weeks.

He's over the 50% mark, but that's good because he was born over the 50%. He sounds like he's growing regularly.

This is about right. I would say that he is 1 and a half pound over but that is no big deal.

If he's healthy and growing steadily, he's fine. The numbers aren't all that important themselves.
