If you take a first aid course you may get more interested parents for babysitting jobs. They will feel more reassured that their kids are safe and that you will know what to do in the case of an emergency. Also, if there are seniors in your area, you can offer to do some light grocery shopping for them. Maybe get your mom to help you out with transportation if it's not too often or use a bike.

You can also clean houses and do yard work. Post bulletins at grocery stores, bingo halls, and senior centers. Elderly people need help with these things. BUT - make sure you arrange a fair wage ahead of time.

See if you can babysit for your family members. When I was younger, I babysat my nephew. My sister would pay me a discounted amount, of course. I enjoyed the time that I spent w/ my nephew:)

Also, see if you can babysit for your neighbor/ friends.

Once I turned 14, I had a Phil-A-Job which involved working at a day camp. It was fun:)

Best Wishes w/ your job search:)

go and cut some grass... you work on you legs .. tone your arms... listen to some tunes on an mP3... and get paid. i usually start off with a sugguested price of $20.. get good at it and get reccomendations and you could start your own landscaping buisness. raking, edging, trimmin the hedges, planting. then you could make some serious bank!

Put an ad up at your local church or grocery store.
