ok, so today while talking with someone, i fully realized that i had only 7 weeks left, like i had been saying it, but then i was like, oh wow, i have 7 weeks left, and i realized, i really want to create a book, im only 18, and this will be my first child, but i would love stories about pregnancy and postpartum, and hell even conception...i want a book that any women can walk into a bookstore and be like, oh my gosh, thats the perfect book, one that explains and has stories that not everybody grew there belly early, some had to wait until 7 months ;d or that some people have morning sickness all 9 months :( you know the things that are really something that no pregnancy book has, experience with information, i know what to expect when your expecting has great information, but it doesnt have the great stories also....so please feel free to comment!!!!

My infant daughter was crawling on the floor when I picked her up and she smelled like human feces. She found a couple small pieces somewhere in the house and we think it came from when my son had an accident in his underwear and he just left them in the dirty clothes. Anyways, is there any health risks or anything we should be on the look out for? Will this hurt her at all?

my 4 month old son has a cold and a fever. His normal feeding is about 4 oz of formula every 2-3 hours. Now that he has a cold, he wont eat at all maybe every now and then he will drink, but not enough. Not sure how what to do to keep him nourished and hydrated. Any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

My 2 month old sometimes sleeps more than 4 hours during the day. During the night, he only sleeps 6 hours the first stretch and then 3 or 4 the next. He is breastfed, but I thought he would sleep more. I try to keep him up until 9 or 10pm but he conks out around 7 or 8 lately. If I put him to bed at 8 or 9 he wakes up at 2 or 3, then again at 5 or 6. Is this normal?

My almost three month old baby loves to sit. She can almost do it without support. If she is laying down and you hold both of her hands she will push herself up into a sitting position. Everyone freaks out and yells at us when they see that or when we sit her up. When did you start sipping up your baby? How likely is the chance that there will be spinal cord problems if she stars sitting up right now?

I am a breastfeeding mom and I am going back to work next week. I have been pumping and freezing my milk so we won't have to use formula but I have NO IDEA how much milk I need to send. My son is 7 weeks old.
Any other breast feeding moms that went back to work around this time? Around how many ounces was your baby drinking each feeding from the bottle? How much milk did you need to supply your child care provider with for an 8 to 9 hour work day?
Thanks!!!

I just recently found out I am 4 weeks pregnant and I have a 3 year old son too. I am just wondering and asking for tips of how you involved your first born with the newborn and made it where the first did not feel left out. Any help will be appreciated. I'm just nervous that my son will have a hard time adjusting cause he is the first grandchild and everything to my parents too. Thanks for any help!

My 14 month old son does not eat anything besides cereals and bananas and drink formula or milk. What can I do? He just does not like anything. Even to get his cereal in I first have to force a spoon in his mouth so he can taste it and know what it is. He won't eat veggies or fruit and I still puree everything. If I give him a piece of something he'll chew on it and spit it out 10 minutes later no matter how tiny it is. He just won't swallow. He used to like pureed zuchini with potato and chicken breast but I can't make that everyday. Please help. I even tried mixing foods with his cereal. Once he finds it in there he won't have anymore.

Hi, I habe a 6-week-old who, when I lay on the floor and play music, he kicks his legs in time with the music.
And when I pause the cd he throws a fit.
Anyone else seen this reaction in their own kids?

I didnt breastfeedc initially because I had a c-section and was on narcotic pain meds and didnt have a breast pump. I went out and bought a breast pump the other day to try to get my milk going again. I dont think I dried up completely because when I squeese my nipples, little milk comes out still, so I think there is some hope. How long do I have to wait or how much pumping do you think I should do to get my milk REALLY going again. Is there something that i'm doing wrong? Baby is out of the question, she REFUSED to get on the tit, and I prefer to pump so daddy wont feel left out in the feedings.

Whilst having my second baby I was convinced (and secretly hoping) for another girl so after pushing out babys head, I scream out to my mother and midwife "What is it?" to which my mum answered "It's a bloody head , now keep on pushing!"
Also, hubby was so embarrassed by my rather foul mouth he went and stood outside another labour suite! Well I was in pain!!
