I still care for him and I wonder if I should find a guy that is able to help me because my baby's daddy is too poor?

I keep our home at 72 degrees all day long. Is it warm enough to keep my 3 month old in a short sleeve onesie all day to lounge in just around the house? At night I turn the heat down to 68 and I put her in a zip up gerber sleep and play with footies.

Wont they grow out of it in about a month? I don't understand the reasoning behind it. Yeah, they look adorable . . . but you can buy about 6 outfits from target for about the same price.

My sister just had a baby and they tested her blood as O-. Both my parents are A+ and my mom was tested when she had my sister to make sure she didn't need that shot they give when the blood types are different and she didn't need a shot and neither did my sister. She only found out her blood was O- after the baby was born. Could they have messed up the blood test? If they didn't, did someone else mess up because my sister had no idea her and the baby would have this sort of problem. Wouldn't the doctor let her know about it?

My daughter is 14 months almost and i have been breastfeeding since birth. However now I want to think about stopping and replacing with formula.

I recall reading some time ago (when i was new to breastfeeding) that i had to gradually stop breastfeeding or the milk flow would build up and could block my ducts and thus lead to discomfort and, at worst, mastitis.

My question is, does that only apply during the first few months of breastfeedling (like during "let-down"), or can i just stop when i feel like it, now than i have been breastfeeding for a long time?

She has only eaten 6 oz today (opposed to a normal 18-20 oz). She doesn't seem to be sick, but she is starting to get dehydrated. My doctor doesn't have a weekend calling service, so I can't call. I am not as worried about her nutrition as I am about the lack of fluids. She is almost 6 months old. Any ideas on what is wrong or how to help her? She doesn't have a fever and she doesn't seem to be sick, but she cries every time I try to feed her. I have dumped the first bottle and filled it up again thinking maybe something was wrong with the milk, but that didn't help. Just to let you know what I've done. Help! :)

when the young of animals are weaned they no longer drink milk but eat solid food all the time yet when the young of humans are weaned they continue (in most cases) to drink milk for the rest of their lives ,do the humans need the milk to supplement their diet or is it just a habit to drink the milk?

I was just wondering how long people used the Dr. Browns bottle for? Did you continue to use them after the baby was able to burp on their own? Did you use them up until the baby stopped using a bottle? Thanks!

Has anyone else baby experienced this and if so how did you get it to clear up? I believe it camed from the Johnson's baby wash that I used when I washed her face, The peditrician told me to wash her face with plain water, to not use soap on her face.

we'd rather them NOT kiss him? They're coming to see him for the first time next week, and will be traveling on a plane. I don't want them kissing him on the mouth after traveling and being around hundreds on people in the middle of flu season. Is that rude??? Also we've asked them to stay in a hotel because we only have a one bedroom apt. and my husband and I and the newborn and 2 cats all live there, and I feel it would be too crowded and messy with them sleeping on the living room floor for 4-5 nights. Then the middle of the night wakings when I like to go into the kitchen and get a drink and pump sometimes. Is this asking too much??? My husband's kinda making me feel bad about asking them to do this because he thinks we only should've been able to ask them to do this when he was FIRST brought home from the hospital, but not now??? Any advice?
