I was just wondering how long people used the Dr. Browns bottle for? Did you continue to use them after the baby was able to burp on their own? Did you use them up until the baby stopped using a bottle? Thanks!

For a newborn, you're able to desire to get a pair 4 ounce-bottles. consistent with danger 4, and then purchase consistent with danger 4 of the 8 ounce bottles as quickly as the infant starts eating greater effective than 4 oz..at a feeding. Colic in many situations ends at approximately 4 months, yet no longer each and every infant gets colic.

I would have used them until my son was done taking a bottle, but I found that the formula got built up in all those little crevices and it grossed me out. Even using the little scrub brush didn't get them all the way clean it seemed. Eventually I switched to the Gerber bottles that are triangular shaped (I forget what they are called) and those were much easier to keep clean.

I'm still using them and our son is 4mo old, they do help with the air but I just think they are good bottles period. I know I'll continue to use them for as long as he needs a bottle. And they do sell all the parts separetely if theres any wear or tear.Hope this helps...

I used Dr.Brown's but I didn't use them long. My son was slightly premature and needed a softer nipple which Dr Brown's has as well as the fact that it prevented air bubbles was great. My friend however used her Dr Browns until her daughter was a yr old and swears by them. You can use it as long as you want to use it there is no age limit or reason you shouldn't use it if its your preferred bottle
