Sometimes she eats solid foods (Baby food) and sometimes she won't eat and only wants a bottle. Also she stayed with her grandma a few nights and ever since she won't go to sleep without a bottle. And it has to be formula otherwise she will scream and cry until she gets it. How can I get her to go to sleep without a bottle?

I really don't know what to do with my 11 month old day in day out. She's only interested in each activity for a couple of minutes. I have totally run out of things to do with her. What is a typical day like for you?

My son is 9 months and eat 6 jars of Stage 2 baby food a day. 2 at every meal and eat about 3-4 bottles of formula within 24 hrs. Hes not over weight at all, 19 1/2 lbs and he has been walking for 2 months so he tends so burn it off very quickly. But the reason i'm asking is that he poops between 5 and 8 times a day! i talked to his doc and she said she wasnt worried since he was a good weight, very active. My daughter, now 3 yrs, would barley eay 2- 3 jars a day. My son eats every kind of food he loves them all so i know hes getting all his fruits a veggies, it just seems so much compared to what i'm used to. Anyone have expierence with this?

I came from a country of which giving silver spoon as gift for newborn babies is not a custom (also the usage of the silver teether for baby, etc). I have a 6 mo baby now (still breast fed her). I have received a silver spoon as a gift for my baby daughter, and started using it to feed my baby for the past few days. Only then, I browsed at Yahoo! Answers - and found that there is an open question about the danger of using the silver spoon for baby, without elaborating what is the danger that is lurking. What I want to know is, what is exactly the danger? What harm could it be for the baby in the longer run? I am scared to continue using the spoon, afraid that I would endanger my baby's health.. Could you please give me some information please? Thank you!

I just stocked up on AVENT brand bottles/nipples, and a pump. I read that it was one of the top rated.
What do you say?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and I didn't breastfeed my first child but plan on trying to breast feed the baby I am currently carring. I am trying to bet prepared for my showers and need to know some of the most essential things that I need. What was the brands of the best pumps or did you use one? Storage systems for your milk, what is the best brand? What is the one thing that you couldn't of lived with out? I just need to know the best things that I need. None of MY family has breastfeed so I have no one to ask. My in-laws have breastfeed but it was not a long term thing for them it was jsut as long as they could do it and most didn't make it past week five or six. I play on working out of the home after my baby is born so I need to know exactly what I need for preparing for those days as well. Thank you and any suggestions would be very helpful.

Ok now for the last few weeks I have been asking pregnancy related questions and responding to questions as well. I finally gave birth to my beautiful baby daughter on Thursday. Now today I decided to log on to Yahoo Answers and I felt sad, I am not pregnant anymore. I already miss being pregnant and I could not wait till I got it all over with. I am extremely glad I have my baby girl but I don't know why I am sad that I am not pregnant anymore. has anyone ever experienced this before??

My son is not showing any signs of wanting to crawl, scoot, roll, etc. to get around. He can roll from his back to his tummy, but all he does is the "sky diver" routine and then gets frustrated. He sits up as long as he is supported, but he just shows no desire to move around. Is this something I should be concerned about? He just saw his doctor and everything was fine, but I didn't address this issue because I didn't realize a problem until now. Please dont joke about this. I need some encouraging answers. Thank you!

It's not hard, and she never hurts herself, but when she's sitting with her back up against a wall, she often will rock her head back and fourth and knock her head on the wall. She is a healthy, happy, growing baby otherwise. It's just an odd thing to do. My other child never did this...

My 8 month old daughter is trying to crawl too fast and missteps and keeps bumping her head on the floor. Should I take her to see a doctor? Or is she gonna be ok as long as she seems normal after the bump?

Just recently, I believe that my six month old daughter just found her ears and her hair. She LOVES pulling my hair and holding on to it while I hold her--as with anyone else that holds her. So obviously, she's fascinated with hair.
Everytime I feed her (and only when I feed her, not anytime else), she grabbs at her ears and her hair. I know that she does not have an ear infection, she only grabs it occaisionally and she's not in pain or have a fever. She does not have head lice either.
Does anyone else think she just discovered her ears and hair? Please suggest some things you think may be going on. Thank you!
