My 8 month old daughter is trying to crawl too fast and missteps and keeps bumping her head on the floor. Should I take her to see a doctor? Or is she gonna be ok as long as she seems normal after the bump?

Yep....this is normal! I woudn't be concerned about every little bump and bruise. But if she gets a really big one, or one that dents in, or she acts strange afterward, you should call the doctor.

It sounds like you have a very brave and confident baby who knows how to dust herself off and get back in the game! Good girl! Her confidence will help her get through this phase soon.....then she'll try to walk....and will fall on her head some more....then she'll be climbing on everything...and falling some more.
Just make sure she has a safe place to fall!

Unless there is prominent bruising which would be a sign of a damaging blow, i would not be too concerned. Babies are clumsy and fall a lot...wait until she start walking :)
