just about. On average there are 4.33 weeks in a month... Most people use weeks when the baby is young just b/c they change so much and then they go by months until the kid is about 2

Ok, Let's just say that the Baby was born today: January 21st. The Baby would be five months old on June 21st. Exactly 20 weeks from today is June 10th. So it's an 11 day difference.

Most people stop counting the weeks once the baby is 3 months old.

No. 5 months old baby is few days older than a 20 weeks old baby.

NO, NO, NO!! There are approximately 4.3 weeks in a month, not 4 even, that is why there are 52 weeks in a year and not 48. It is scary how many people do not know that. A 5 month old baby is older than a 20 week old baby.

No, no two babies are the same.
They're pretty close in age though (the 5 month old might be up to 6 weeks older, because a baby just under 6 months is also a 5-month-old)

Not necessarily...a 5 month old baby can be as much as 21 weeks 4 days old depending on how many days are in those 5 months.

yes there are 4 weeks in a month so 4 times 5 is 20. Unless of course it falls when some months have 5 weeks in it.

4 weeks in a month times 5 equals 20 weeks which is 5 months.

No,not from what I understand,I had the same question. My son was born August 18th and if you go by weeks he was 5 months on January 5th,but you don't,he just turned 5 months on January 18th.I thought that was the way it should be but I was wrong. It would go from the 18th to the 18th,same as you count your own birthday.I hope this helps you,I was confused as well!LOL!
