My son sleeps best (all night) in his swing, and though it is not moving (we don't turn it on) I am having major guilt! The swing is a cradle swing and he loves to be reclined like that. He hates being on his back. We are trying some nights in the crib, and he wakes us every hour at least. I usually end up putting him back in the swing because I am so tired. Anyone have this experience? On the one hand, I am glad he can get a good night's sleep, on the other, I worry that it's not good for his developement. Yikes! Help, anyone?

I am 7 months pregnant with twins and it's my first time. Since it's twins, I might have to go in early for delivery. Can anyone tell me what all I am supposed to pack in the bag? For example, how many clothes do I have to pack for my babies and what other stuff for myself and the babies do I have to take?

Do you switch to a forward facing carseat at 20 pounds, one year, or both? A friend's 3 month old is almost 20 pounds, and was wondering if she should do the forward facing now or at one year.

I want my baby boy circumsized, and the pediatrician you pick usually does it... I am wondering if you don't have a pediatrician picked out do they still have someone to do that? Anyone know?

I am delivering about 30 minutes away, and want a local private pediatrician... but they won't go that far to just circumsize a baby, and I wouldn't want them to have to...

I have it on my list of "ASK DR THIS" next time... just wondering if I don't have one (or do, but they are unavailable), can we still do this procedure?

Thanks for any input.

Will an infant born at 37 weeks gestation develop the same way a full-term infant would? For example, will he reach his one-month milestones at one month, or will he be behind three weeks?

I'm not working and living with a friend who in about three months will be moving out of state. At the same time the baby is due, however I have no money, job, baby bed or other things needed for the arrival of my new and first born baby. Where do I go to and what should I do?

For the last few days, my 7 month old has been choking on water and juice. REALLY badly. She gets scared, starts gasping for air, cant breathe, and eventually starts crying & coughing (thank God). I thought maybe the sippy cup was bringing the fluid out too quickly for her, so I tried a bottle. Same thing happened. For now I've cut out extra fluids all together. She is still breastfeeding, and does not have this problem with the breast. Any suggestions?
