My baby is 2weeks old and I'm currently breastfeeding him and giving him formula at night, so my husband can be involved.I'm weighing my options of permantly putting him on formula b/c my husband feels left out.I love the bond my son and I have during nursing, however breastfeeding is taking a toll on my body.
My baby is feeding faster than my milk is coming in & and I feel he gets full off formula rather than breast milk. I need some advice, should I continue to breastfeed or give my husband a chance and offer formula?

I have an almost 9 month old son who has hit a new level of being clingy and throwing temper tantrums. He's too young to discipline and every time I try to sit him down, he grabs ahold of me and won't let go, screaming. Also, if I do something he doesn't like, he'll throw himself all rigid on the floor screaming till he's red in the face. He won't go to anyone else, including his father (which is causing HUGE problems because his dad already doesn't want me being a stay-at-home mom because my husband thinks it'll make him a "mama's boy")...Does anyone have suggestions about how to stop temper tantrums in a child this young? Basically, I snap my fingers or clap my hands and tell him no in a strong voice. It does no good -- usually makes him cry harder. Also any suggestions on the clinginess thing. It doesn't bother me too much, but my husband and the grandparents are doing nuts not getting to hold my little boy! Thanks!

we are pregnant with our 4th and at first we were going to do cloth diapers, but then I realized I can barely keep up with the laundry we already have, so we are going with disposable....we have never used a diaper pail before and I was wondering if the diaper genie is worth the money?

I -- pregnant for the first time -- have a few nice articles of baby clothing, and am a bit surprised to notice that even the very nice stuff has large, itchy-looking tags.

Given how irritable _I_ get over an itchy tag, those are getting snipped right out.

But. How useful is it to know the size of baby clothes? Will it be worth my time to do what I was thinking of, viz: using some coloured thread to stitch in a little code so I know the size? Or can you eventually pretty much gauge the size by just looking?

A bit of an odd question, yes. But, Yahoo! Answers is so useful for those odd questions...

I have been introducing baby food to my daughter since she was about 4-5 months old. We started out with rice cereal, then moved on to fruits and veggies, then added stage 2 foods like meats and desserts. She loved eating baby food at 6 months. We try to give her one serving of baby food at lunch and one serving at dinner.

Now I will feed her about 5 bites and then she will refuse any more food. She will still be hungry, so I would make her a small bottle, which she would eat. Then I stopped making a bottle after she refused food and would wait a little while and try to feed her again. That did not work.

She will not feed in a high chair either. You have to sit her on your lap. It usually takes me 15-20 mintues for me to feed her 1/2 of a Stage 1 jar. She should almost be on Stage 3! I have no idea what to do!
