My husband and I like Marcus but we need to decide on a middle name. We like all the middle names here so please help us decide?

I would not suggest Marcus Nicholas, as the rhyming of the name seems unnatural and forced. You want his name to mesh together well.
If your surname is one syllable, I would recommend Marcus Harrison. It would be the right number of syllables for a name to sound well thought-out and complete. Consequently, if your surname is more than one syllable I personally prefer Marcus Cole or James.
My personal preference of Cole or James would be James. It is a classic name and seems suiting for a middle name. Look at it this way: Due to the popularity of the name James, there is a greater chance of an ancestor's name to have been James than it having been Cole!

Cole and Harrison are last names.
If you are going to give your child a last name as a middle name, why not give him one that is meaningful, like your maiden name or one of the grandmother's maiden names?
I think it's really important that the whole family can feel the name is meaningful, has history and brings with it the memories of those who have passed on, but are still loved.That's what new birth and family continuity are all about.

marcus james harrison cole ????? why not?? i kno a girl named brittnye marie nicholle danielle. its unusual & quite lovely. ok ok so i like em all. just love the kid !! congrads.
