Not sure what veggie puffs are, but you can start introducing solids to baby at 6 months, before then ust formula or breast milk.

I gave my daughter some of the fruit puffs at 9 months old and she didn't do very well with them... they don't dissolve all that easy and because of the size, she kept trying to swallow them whole. We did much better with the Gerber Arrowroot cookies, banana cookies, animal crackers, ritz crackers, english muffins, and banana slices. She can self feed with those because they have the perfect texture for her to take little bites and chew on them. At 10 months, my daughter is still not doing well with the puffs or things like cheerios. I think that they are more designed for the 11 to 12 month age group.

My son LOVES the fruit and veggie puffs, I started giving them to him when he was 6 months, I would feed them to him one at a time, and slowly allowed him to feed himself, now at 7 months he picks them up and puts them in his mouth one at a time! It's so cute!

If your talking about the freeze dried things that kinda melt in the mouth, I started them to my son at about 8 months. He couldn't really figure out what to do with it, so I stopped giving them to him.
On the package that I had gotten for him, it said for babies 12 months and older. But that also depends on the baby themselves. I only tried giving them to my son because of his teeth, I thought he could chew on them.
Just read the directions on the packages and ask your babies doctor if you're still unsure of when to start giving them to him/her.

Thos Gerber ones are great..at about 6 months. My son loved them and they help with motor skills as well. Trying to pick them up and get them into their mouths.
